Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a multiple listen-before-talk (LBT) bandwidths, where each LBT bandwidth is associated with one or more downlink control channel candidates of a search space for a control resource set. The UE may monitor the LBT bandwidths during a wakeup signal period for a wakeup signal from the base station. The UE may be configured with a total number of blind hypotheses in the set of blind hypotheses which is equal to or greater than a total number of LBT bandwidths. The UE may determine whether to wake up and monitor an on duration of a discontinuous reception cycle based on detection of the wakeup signal.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to autonomous sidelink communication in a radio frequency band (e.g., in a shared spectrum or an unlicensed spectrum) shared by multiple network operating entities are provided. A first user equipment (UE) performs a listen-before-talk (LBT) in a shared radio frequency band based on a first starting point of a plurality of starting points within an LBT gap duration. The first UE transmits, to a second UE, a first sidelink communication in the shared radio frequency band based on the LBT, the first sidelink communication including first sidelink control information (SCI) and first sidelink data.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a device may select a plurality of channel access intervals during which the device is associated with a priority condition relative to another device for communications by the device, wherein each of the plurality of channel access intervals includes a respective contention interval and a respective transmission opportunity; and may transmit, during a contention interval of a first channel access interval of the plurality of channel access intervals, a signal that includes: channel occupancy information for the device for a first transmission opportunity of the first channel access interval, and information that identifies at least a portion of one or more subsequent channel access intervals, of the plurality of channel access intervals, associated with the device. Abstract: Aspects presented herein provide for dual connectivity with a standalone service provider in the unlicensed spectrum. A first base station may receive, from a UE, an indication of a capability for standalone operation in a first RAT that utilizes an unlicensed frequency spectrum and a dual connectivity capability involving the first RAT and a second RAT that utilizes a licensed frequency spectrum, wherein dual connectivity comprises the UE being connected to a master base station on a first frequency and a secondary base station on a second frequency at a same time. The first base station may signal a first set of procedures for dual connectivity when the level of support at the first base station is at higher layers of the first RAT and may signal a second set of procedures when the level of support at the first base station extends to lower layers of the first RAT.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for hierarchical communications and low latency support within a wireless communications system. An eNB and/or a UE may be configured to operate within the wireless communications system which is at least partially defined through a first layer with first layer transmissions having a first subframe type and a second layer with second layer transmissions having a second subframe type. The first subframe type may have a first round trip time (RTT) between transmission and acknowledgment of receipt of the transmission, and the second layer may have a second RTT that is less than the first RTT. Subframes of the first subframe type may be multiplexed with subframes of the second subframe type, such as through time division multiplexing. In some examples symbols of different duration may be multiplexed such that they different symbol durations coexist.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The apparatus may be a UE that acquires information regarding an interfering non-serving cell and uses the information to improve decoding of serving cell signals. The method includes receiving, from a serving evolved Node B (eNB), information that includes one or more transmission characteristics of at least one non-serving cell and performing at least one of interference cancellation, demodulation, or provides an improved channel quality indicator (CQI) based on the received information.

Abstract: New radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) operations are discussed with channel occupancy time (COT) multiple downlink-uplink switching opportunities supported by an active channel indication. A network node that initiates a COT for transmissions may identify a within-channel occupancy time (COT) scheduled downlink-uplink switching configuration. After beginning transmissions on the COT, the node receives an active channel indication from one or more additional network nodes. In response to the active channel indication, the node may then perform communications with the node from which the active channel indication is received according to the within-COT scheduled downlink-uplink switching configuration for the current COT on a shared communication channel.

The transmission burst may include the preamble and a body portion. The transmission burst may then be transmitted over the wireless medium.
