    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may receive control signaling that indicates that the UE is scheduled to transmit a first uplink control channel message during first time domain resources and a first uplink shared channel message during second time domain resources, and the time domain resources may overlap. The UE may identify that the UE includes a UE capability to simultaneously transmit uplink control channel and uplink shared channel messages. The UE may transmit the first uplink control channel message the first component carrier during the first time domain resources and also the first uplink shared channel message during the second time domain resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communication systems, for example those supporting accumulated feedback, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a plurality of accumulated feedback events that are each representative of different feedback combinations for reporting accumulated feedback for a set of scheduled downlink occasions and may determining the accumulated feedback for the set of scheduled downlink occasions. The UE may select, from the plurality of accumulated feedback events, a representative event based on the accumulated feedback and may transmit an uplink control message indicative of the representative event. In some examples, transmitting the uplink control message may include identifying a Huffman code for the representative event and transmitting the Huffman code via one or more stages of the uplink control message.

Generally, a user equipment (UE) may monitor for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmissions and generate SPS hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) bits scheduled for transmission to the base station in a set of uplink symbols. However, a collision may occur during transmission if a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) carrying the SPS HARQ bits overlaps with downlink symbols. The UE may defer all SPS HARQ bits from collided PUCCHs to a next available PUCCH resource. In some examples, the UE may distribute deferred HARQ bits across multiple available PUCCH resources. The UE may distribute the deferred HARQ bits evenly across the next available PUCCH resources, or the UE may distribute the deferred HARQ bits unevenly according to a pattern. In some examples, the base station may indicate (e.g., via a downlink control information (DCI) message) a deferment pattern to the UE.
