Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one example, a method includes receiving signaling from a base station to activate a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration for transmission between the base station and the UE, and receiving a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) timing for downlink transmissions based at least in part on the SPS configuration being activated. In another example, the method includes establishing a connection with a base station using a component carrier (CC), the CC having a plurality of bandwidth parts (BWPs), receiving signaling that indicates an SPS configuration or other types of pre-configured resources associated with at least a first BWP of the plurality of BWPs and transmitting or receiving using at least the first BWP according to the SPS configuration or other types of pre-configured resources associated with at least the first BWP.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to communication systems, and more particularly, to interpreting a timing advance (TA) command for members of a timing advance group (TAG), such as different uplink component carriers and/or different bandwidth parts, having different numerologies, such as different subarrier spacing (SCS). A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station (BS), a TA command. The UE interprets the TA command differently for different members of a same TAG, associated with different numerologies. The UE applies a timing adjustment when transmitting an uplink transmission to the BS based, at least in part, on the interpretation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to determine a priority indicator for an upcoming transmission between the UE and a base station and transmit the priority indicator to the base station. The base station may receive the priority indicator, determine a network condition, and may transmit control information for a downlink transmission. The control information may include an indication of a set of modulation and coding schemes to select from a plurality of sets of modulation and coding schemes and an index value for an entry in the selected set of modulation and coding scheme, where the indication is based on the priority indicator and a network condition. The UE may identify a combination of a modulation order and a code rate for the downlink transmission based on the indication of modulation and coding scheme table and the index value.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a hybrid scheduling configuration that includes a dynamic scheduling indication, a preconfiguration including initial scheduling parameters, and a set of preconfigured occasions for communicating data with a base station. The UE may monitor for the dynamic scheduling indication based on the initial scheduling parameters and the set of the preconfigured occasions. For instance, the UE may monitor for the dynamic scheduling indication during periodic occasions, monitor for the dynamic scheduling indication using a different periodicity, or monitor based on a time interval (e.g., a slot) during which both the preconfigured occasion and the dynamic scheduling indication occur. In any case, the UE may communicate with the base station after receiving the dynamic scheduling indication, where data may be transmitted to, or received from, the base station in accordance with the hybrid scheduling configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one example, a method includes receiving signaling from a base station to activate a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration for transmission between the base station and the UE, and receiving a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) timing for downlink transmissions based at least in part on the SPS configuration being activated.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that a received physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication is included in multiple downlink association sets, wherein hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information for different downlink association sets is to be reported in different slots; report a valid HARQ-ACK in a first slot indicated by a PDSCH-to-HARQ feedback timing value associated with the PDSCH communication; and selectively report the valid HARQ-ACK, corresponding to the PDSCH communication, or a negative acknowledgement (NACK) in a second slot based at least in part on whether the second slot occurs before or after the first slot, wherein the second slot is to be used for reporting HARQ-ACK information associated with a downlink association set of the multiple downlink association sets. Numerous other aspects are provided.
