Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present specification, a method for determining a beam to be used by a terminal for communication in an mmWave communication system can be provided. Here, the method for determining a beam to be used by a terminal for communication may comprise the steps of: receiving a CSI-RS from a base station; reporting a preferred primary beam to the base station on the basis of the received CSI-RS; receiving secondary beam information from the base station on the basis of the preferred primary beam; reporting a preferred secondary beam from among the secondary beam information to the base station; and receiving a setting of a CSI-RS resource from the base station on the basis of the preferred secondary beam. Here, the secondary beam information may include the preferred primary beam and at least one secondary beam to which QCL is applied.

Abstract: The method for feedback of channel quality information in a wireless communication system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, is performed by a terminal and comprises the steps of: receiving feedback configuration information, including information on disjoint segmentation indicating the indexes of channel or beam quality-related parameters for broadcast or multicast services, from a base station; and according to the information on disjoint segmentation in the feedback configuration information, encoding the index of a channel or beam quality-related parameter to be reported and transmitting same to the base station, wherein the disjoint segmentation includes multiple subsets which do not overlap and which have different lengths, and the index of the channel or beam quality-related parameter, which is transmitted to the base station, may indicate a predetermined value in one subset among the multiple subsets.

Abstract: A method for a base station to transmit a signal allowing a terminal to remove phase noise in an mmWave communication system, according to an embodiment of the present specification, may be provided. Here, the method for transmitting a signal for removing phase noise comprises: a step of generating a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) and a first RS; a step of assigning the PTRS and the first RS to a resource block; and a step of transmitting the assigned PTRS and first RS, wherein the step of assigning the PTRS and the first RS includes a step of changing a frequency location of the PTRS if the PTRS and the first RS collide in the resource block, wherein the changed PTRS frequency location may be changed to a frequency location, across frequencies on which a predetermined demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port, associated with the PTRS, in a DMRS port group is located, which is closest to the existing PTRS frequency location and avoids collision with the first RS.
