    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, computer readable media for uplink transmission power control in a wireless network. An apparatus of a wireless device comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to decode a trigger frame from an access point for an uplink communication, the trigger frame comprising an uplink resource allocation for the station, the uplink resource allocation including common information and per station information, the common information including an indication of a maximum receive power at the access point, the per station information comprising an identification of the station, and an indication of a resource unit (RU). The processing circuitry may be further configured to: encode an uplink (UL) physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU)(UL-PPDU) in accordance with the indication of the RU. The processing circuitry may be further configured to: determine a transmit power for the UL-PPDU based on the maximum receive power.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for classification of basic service sets (BSS) based on transmission opportunity holder addresses are disclosed.     Abstract: Embodiments of a station (STA), access point (AP) and method for communication in the presence of spatial reuse (SR) transmissions are generally described herein. An STA may determine a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) based on one or more inbound physical layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data units (PPDUs) received from a destination STA. The STA may determine, based at least partly on a comparison between the RSSI and a predetermined threshold, whether SR transmissions by other STAs in the channel are permissible. The SR transmissions may be concurrent to transmissions by the STA within the TXOP in the channel. The STA may transmit a PPDU to the destination STA that includes an SR indicator that indicates whether the SR transmissions are permissible.

    Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for trigger frame recovery. An apparatus of a wireless device is disclosed. The apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to: encode a trigger frame comprising a resource allocation for one or more stations, where the trigger frame comprises a network allocation vector (NAV) duration. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to transmit the trigger frame to the one or more stations. The processing circuitry may be further configured to configure the wireless device to contend for the wireless medium a first time, encode a retransmission of the trigger frame, and configure the wireless device to transmit the retransmission of the trigger frame to the one or more stations, if a frame is not received from the one or more stations in response to the trigger frame before a trigger frame timeout duration.

    Abstract: Apparatuses, computer readable media, and methods for physical layer short feedback. An apparatus of a high efficiency (HE) station is disclosed. The apparatus comprising circuitry configured to: decode a trigger frame for short feedback, the trigger frame comprising an indication of a resource unit (RU) to respond to a short feedback request, where the RU comprises one or more tones and one or more symbols. The circuitry may be further configured to encode a short feedback response to the short feedback request on the RU, where each of the one or more tones of the RU is to be encoded with one or more of: a positive signal, a negative signal, and no signal. The circuitry may be further configured to configure the HE station to transmit the short feedback response to an access point in accordance with orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) using resources of the RU.

    Abstract: Methods and devices are described for providing wireless stations (STAs) with two sets of enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameters. Legacy EDCA parameters that are for single user (SU) operations and may be used by both high-efficiency (HE) STAs and legacy STAs without multi-user (MU) capability. MU EDCA parameters are defined to be more restrictive than legacy EDCA parameters in favoring MU operations. Embodiments are described that define sets of rules for regulating how STAs capable of both SU and MU uplink operations can use the different sets of EDCA parameters.
