Abstract: A common information transmission method and an apparatus relate to the communications field, and to reduce repeated sending of common information from a base station to a plurality of user equipments (UEs) during sending of the common information, and improve utilization of resources between the base station and the UEs. The method includes obtaining, by UE, frequency domain location information of a first transmission bandwidth, determining, by the UE, a size and a location of the first transmission bandwidth in a bandwidth of the UE according to the frequency domain location information, where the bandwidth of the UE is one of system bandwidths, and receiving, by the UE over the first transmission bandwidth according to the size and the location of the first transmission bandwidth, common information sent by a base station.

Abstract: The method includes: A network device sends first configuration information on a first downlink carrier, where the first configuration information indicates a first uplink resource; the network device receives a first signal or first information from the terminal device on the first uplink resource; and when determining, based on the first signal or the first information, that the terminal device accesses the network device on the first downlink carrier, the network device sends a downlink signal on the first downlink carrier. During random access by the terminal device, the network device may configure, for the terminal device, the first uplink resource on which a downlink carrier used to access the network device can be fed back.

Abstract: A method includes: when a band, in which a supplemental uplink (SUL) carrier is located, multiplexes a time-division duplex (TDD) band or a low-frequency frequency-division duplex (FDD) band, M time domain resources used by a terminal device to perform SUL transmission is determined from N time domain resources included in the SUL carrier, and indication information that indicates the M time domain resources is sent to the terminal device such that the terminal device can send an uplink signal and/or an uplink channel using the M time domain resources. Further, a network device may configure an available time domain resource used for uplink transmission for the SUL carrier using a system information block (SIB), Radio Resource Control (RRC) dedicated signaling, or download control information (DCI)/media access control (MAC) control element (CE).

Abstract: A method, a base station, a User Equipment (UE) and a system for sending and receiving Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) signaling are disclosed. A method includes determining locations of a first search space and a second search space of a User Equipment (UE). A method also includes sending PDCCH signaling with no Carrier Indication Field (CIF) to the UE in a physically overlapped region between the first search space and the second search space if the physically overlapped region exists and a length of the PDCCH signaling with no CIF in the first search space is equal to a length of PDCCH signaling with the CIF in the second search space.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a terminal device receives downlink control information that is sent by a network device and that indicates a first physical downlink control channel (PUCCH), where the first PUCCH and a second PUCCH occupy a same first time-domain symbol, and the first PUCCH and a third PUCCH occupy a same second time-domain symbol; and the terminal device sends the first PUCCH, where the first PUCCH carries a first sequence and a second sequence, a cyclic shift of the first sequence is determined based on a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK) value and state information of a scheduling request (SR) corresponding to the second PUCCH, and a cyclic shift of the second sequence is determined based on the HARQ-ACK value and state information of an SR corresponding to the third PUCCH. An HARQ-ACK and a plurality of SRs can be multiplexed on a same PUCCH improving communication efficiency.
