Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a polar coding method, apparatus, and device, so as to reduce storage overheads of a system. A sequence for polar coding is obtained based on a length M of a target polar code, wherein the sequence comprises L sequence numbers, ordering of the L sequence numbers in the sequence is the same as ordering of the L sequence numbers in a maximum mother code sequence, wherein the maximum mother code sequence is obtained by sorting N sequence numbers of N polarized channels in ascending order or descending order of reliability metrics, wherein L and N are integer power of 2, M is smaller than or equal to L, L is smaller than or equal to N.

Abstract: Example non-terrestrial network (NTN)-based data transmission methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process for data transmission does not use a HARQ transmission manner, and an unused bit in DCI may be multiplexed. The DCI includes a first part of bits indicating a process number of the first HARQ process. Another part of bits of the DCI may indicate the process number or another parameter. The terminal device perform data processing by using the DCI and output processed data, that is, perform data transmission.

One example method includes generating a first signal and sending a first signal, where the first signal includes an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol, a first-type cyclic prefix (CP), and a second-type CP. CP resources of the first-type CP include two types of CP resources: a first CP resource and a second CP resource. CP resources of the second-type CP include one type of CP resource, that is, the second CP resource. The first CP resource may be used to carry data that is different from data carried on the OFDM symbol. The second CP resource may be used to carry data that is the same as the data carried on the OFDM symbol.

Abstract: A magnetic induction communication-based vehicle control apparatus and method are disclosed. The apparatus includes a first coil (1001), a processor (1002), and a communications interface (1003). The first coil (1001) receives a signal of second coils (1004) laid along a lane. There is a preset relative location relationship between the first coil (1001) and the second coils (1004). When a vehicle equipped with the vehicle control apparatus deviates from a predetermined travel direction, the first coil (1001) generates an electromotive force signal based on a change in the relative location relationship between the first coil (1001) and the second coils (1004). The processor (1002) outputs a second signal based on the electromotive force signal, where the second signal is used to indicate the vehicle to adjust a running track to travel along the predetermined travel direction.

Abstract: Embodiments of the application provide a method for rate matching in a wireless communication network. A device obtains K information bits and a target code length M of a polar code, determines, according to a minimum value of a set of values, a mother code length N1, polar encodes the K information bits to obtain an encoded sequence of N1 bits, obtains a target sequence of M bits from the N1 bit encoded sequence, and outputs the M-bit target sequence. When the mother code length N1 is larger than the target code length M, (N1-M) bits of the encoded sequence are punctured or shortened from the N1 bit encoded sequence.

Abstract: This application provides a method for communicating a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). A terminal device obtains a modulation order, a code rate, or a spectral efficiency, determines an index of a reference MCS from a mapping table based on the obtained modulation order, code rate, or spectral efficiency, and reports the index of the reference MCS to a network device. The mapping table includes one or more mapping relationships between an MCS index and a modulation order, a code rate, or a spectral efficiency. The terminal device may process uplink or downlink data based on the determined MCS, thereby improving data transmission reliability.
