    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting for MIMO operations. According to certain aspects, operations for performing periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting for MIMO generally includes configuring a user equipment (UE) that is capable of MIMO with different parameters for periodic and aperiodic channel state information (CSI) reporting, wherein the different parameters indicate at least one of what resources to measure or what in formation to report, and receiving periodic and aperiodic CSI reporting from the UE according to the configuration.

    Abstract: A UE receives DCI scheduling a PUSCH spanning multiple sub-bands, the DCI indicating a first precoder for a first resource grid of the PUSCH and a second precoder for a second resource grid of the PUSCH. The UE transmits the PUSCH with the first precoder at the first resource grid and with a third precoder at the second resource grid, the third precoder being based on a phase rotation of the second precoder. A base station transmits DCI scheduling a PUSCH spanning multiple sub-bands, the DCI indicating a first precoder for a first resource grid of the PUSCH and a second precoder for a second resource grid of the PUSCH. The base station receives the PUSCH with the first precoder at the first resource grid and with a third precoder at the second resource grid, the third precoder being based on a phase rotation of the second precoder.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for enabling a network equipment to reduce interference for downlink (DL) transmissions to a first device by determining a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for uplink (UL) transmissions transmitted by a second device based on feedback from the first device. The first device may determine a subset of possible TPMIs that the second device may use for UL transmissions for full-duplex communications. The first device may indicate the subset to the network equipment. Based on the subset indicated by the first device, the network equipment may determine a pairing of the first device and the second device for full-duplex communications. Additionally, the network equipment may determine a TPMI for the second device to use in UL transmissions and indicate the TPMI to the second device.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) transmits a signal in accordance with a shortened time domain precoding filter for multi-antenna precoding. In some examples, a UE may precode the signal in accordance with a subset of time domain precoding taps. The UE may select the subset of time domain precoding taps from a set of time domain precoding taps in accordance with an absolute value of each of the set of time domain precoding taps. The UE may transmit the signal in accordance with the precoding. In other examples, the UE may select a transmit channel shortener to apply to a channel. The UE may select the transmit channel shortener based on a channel energy of a shortened channel that is associated with the transmit channel shortener. The UE may transmit the signal via the shortened channel.

A user equipment (UE) may inform a base station of multiple transmission-antenna switching capabilities supported by the UE. The supported transmission-antenna switching capabilities may include a first transmission-antenna switching capability and a second transmission-antenna switching capability. The UE may receive a message that triggers the UE to switch from using a first configuration associated with the first transmission-antenna switching capability to using a second configuration associated with the second transmission-antenna switching capability. The UE may perform a sounding procedure using the second configuration associated with the second transmission-antenna switching capability based on receiving the message.
