    Abstract: In some embodiments, a wireless station may be configured to transmit a request to one or more access points and receive from at least one access point of the one or more access points, a response. The request may be a GAS or probe request and the response may be a GAS or probe response. The request may include an indication of one or more services sought by the wireless station and the response may include information regarding at least one service of the one or more services sought. In addition, the response may be an indication that the at least one access point has determined a match between a provided service and at least one service sought. The wireless station may be further configured to determine, based, at least in part, on the information, to associate with the access point in order to consume the at least one service.

    Abstract: In order to flexibly manage and broadcast content to electronic devices in a multicast group, a multicast group management protocol allows one or more multicast group masters to be specified. In addition to controlling membership in the multicast group, a multicast group master can define or specify a multicast session, in which content from one or more sources is broadcast to at least a subset of the electronic devices or sinks in the multicast group. The multicast group management protocol supports concurrent broadcasts of content to different multicast sessions. Moreover, the broadcasts in the different multicast sessions may have different: priorities, encoding techniques, quality-of-service policies, reliability, and/or number of parity bits. For example, the different encoding techniques may include different layers in H.264 Scalable Video Coding. Alternatively or additionally, the different number of parity bits may be associated with application layer forward error correction.

    Abstract: A dual-radio AP including both a high-power (e.g., Wi-Fi) radio and a low-power (e.g., BLE) radio may support an assisted wakeup service for a power-limited dual-radio mobile device (STA). The power-limited STA may register with the AP for the assisted wakeup service, and may then disable its Wi-Fi radio (or otherwise initiate a lower-power mode). The power-limited STA may receive a BLE communication indicating the AP has pending Wi-Fi transmissions or updates applicable to the power-limited STA. In response, the power-limited STA may turn on its Wi-Fi radio and receive the pending transmissions or updates from the AP. If an AP does not include a low-power radio, then a high-power/low-power dual-radio STA that is not power-limited may serve as an assisted wakeup service proxy. The proxy may scan and trace the Wi-Fi beacons from the AP, and generate the BLE communication to the power-limited STA on behalf of the AP.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing multiuser block acknowledgement in a wireless communication protocol. Embodiments include receiving a control frame from an access point (AP). A transmission mode can be determined based on a trigger information field in the control frame. Further, a data frame to acknowledge can be determined based on a block acknowledgement request (BAR) field in the control frame. A block acknowledgment (BA) frame can be generated based on the data frame to acknowledge. The BA frame can then be transmitted to the AP based on the transmission mode, e.g., at the same time another BA frame is transmitted to the AP by another station.
