    摘要: A connector is fixable to an object such as a circuit board. The connector comprises a housing having a land extending long in a lengthwise direction, a power contact, a metal plate for protecting the connector from ESD, a shell (connection member) configured to be fixed and connected to the circuit board, and a coupling member coupling the metal plate and the shell with each other. The metal plate is inserted in and held by the land. The connector is thus configured so that a static electricity is grounded to the circuit board through the metal plate, the coupling member and the shell. Moreover, the power contact is locatable at an end of the land in the lengthwise direction so that it is possible to reduce the size of the connector.

    摘要: A memory connector with an increased pin interval is disclosed including a main body and a plurality of pins. The body includes a bottom, and the pins are disposed on the bottom along a longitudinal direction in an interlaced way. A recess is formed on the bottom of the main body corresponding to each of the pins at one end of the pin. The arrangement of the pins therein solves the problem of insufficient space for wiring lines of the main board, which is occurred frequently when the pins are fabricated by an SMD process, without increasing any manufacturing cost in particular.

Each board connector includes an insulating housing defining a row of first terminal grooves and a row of second terminal grooves. A plurality of first terminals is retained in the first terminal grooves respectively. A plurality of second terminals is positioned in the second terminal grooves respectively. The male board connector and the female board connector are engaged with each other to make the first terminal and the corresponding second terminal electrically interconnected steadily. The male board connector and the female board connector have the same structure. According to the present invention, it needs only one mold to produce the board-to-board connector and the cost of production will be accordingly lowered.
