    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit an indication to a base station to configure a control channel of a downlink beam in accordance with a full duplex failure detection control resource set (CORESET), wherein the full duplex failure detection CORESET is used based at least in part on the UE being associated with a full duplex communication link that includes the downlink beam and an uplink beam; and monitor a reference signal on the control channel of the downlink beam based at least in part on the full duplex failure detection CORESET in order to detect a beam failure on the downlink beam while transmitting the uplink beam, wherein monitoring the reference signal is based at least in part on a threshold that is based on one or more uplink transmission parameters.     Abstract: Various aspects and features described herein relate to methods for beam failure recovery in a SCell with assistance from a PCell. In an aspect, an apparatus (e.g., a UE) may detect an SCell beam failure, and send a scheduling request in response to detection of the SCell beam failure to a base station via a PCell. The UE may receive a first message including one of an uplink grant or a trigger for an UL report from the base station via the PCell. The UE may send a second message via the PCell indicating the SCell beam failure and a preferred candidate beam associated with the SCell. The UE may receive CORESET TCI state activation from the base station via the PCell, and determine, based on the CORESET TCI state activation signal, a control channel associated with the preferred candidate beam.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for wireless communication are disclosed by the present disclosure. In an example, a user equipment (UE) communicates with a base station on different uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) beam paths. In the example, the UE may indicate to the base station a preferred beam path to use. The UE may indicate the preferred beam path in response to an explicit request from the base station or without an explicit request. The use of different UL/DL beam paths allow beam paths which avoid interference from a user of the UE to be used.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to transmitting and receiving improved monitoring reports. A base station can configure a user equipment (UE) to monitor a channel/signal on multiple beams. The base station can transmit the multiple beams to the UE, which are at different time periods in a monitoring window. The UE can then monitor the multiple beams within the monitoring window and determine a monitoring report. The UE can then transmit the monitoring report to the base station, wherein the monitoring report indicates a subset of multiple beams as being more or less suitable for communication. The base station can also indicate that it will stop transmitting one or more beams and then stop transmitting the beams. If the UE does not send the report, the base station can continue to transmit the multiple beams.

    Abstract: An apparatus may determine a beam configuration for a data transmission that includes at least one code block in a first resource block. In certain aspects, the at least one code block may include a first set of bits and a second set of bits. In certain aspects, the beam configuration may include a first beam in a first beam direction that may be used to communicate the first set of bits of the at least one code block in a first set of symbols of the first resource block and a second beam in a second beam direction that is used to communicate the second set of bits of the at least one code block in the second set of symbols of the first resource block.     Abstract: An apparatus receives a Channel State Information (CSI) reporting setting. The CSI reporting setting includes an identification of uplink reporting resources and at least one condition to be satisfied before the apparatus transmits a CSI report on the uplink reporting resources. The apparatus receives at least one CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) and transmits the CSI report using the uplink reporting resources in response to the at least one CSI-RS directly or indirectly resulting in the at least one condition being satisfied. A network entity transmits a CSI reporting setting including an identification of uplink reporting resources and at least one condition to be satisfied at an apparatus before receiving a CSI report from the apparatus on the uplink reporting resources. The network entity transmits at least one CSI-RS and receives, from the apparatus, the CSI report using the uplink reporting resources in response to transmitting the at least one CSI-RS.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for a user equipment (UE) to report higher order phase variation information to a network entity for the purpose of coherent joint transmission (CJT) with two or more transmission reception points (TRPs). The UE may provide an indication to the network entity that the UE is able to report higher order phase variation information, and a measurement report may be provided that includes such higher order phase variation information. The network entity may select a precoding matrix for CJT with the UE via the two or more TRPs based on the measurement report. The network entity may then communicate with the UE via the TRPs in accordance with the selected precoding matrix.
