Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives a positioning reference signal (PRS) configuration for at least a first transmission-reception point (TRP), the PRS configuration including one or more repetitions of one or more PRS resources within a PRS resource set of a PRS instance associated with the TRP, beam sweeps one or more receive beams within the PRS instance based on a number of the one or more repetitions being greater than a number of repetitions of the one or more PRS resources needed to meet an accuracy requirement, and beam sweeps the one or more receive beams across a plurality of PRS instances associated with the TRP based on the number of the one or more repetitions not being greater than the number of repetitions of the one or more PRS resources needed to meet the accuracy requirement.

Abstract: In an aspect, a UE receives, from a network entity, a configuration of PRS or SRS-P resources for a positioning session, receives a configuration of at least one BWP from a serving BS, identifies a time-domain period for the positioning session where a set of parameters associated with the at least one BWP is to remain constant to achieve a first positioning accuracy requirement. The UE either performs positioning measurements on one or more of the PRS resources during the positioning session or transmits on one or more of the SRS-P resources during the positioning session. The UE determines an active BWP transition during the time-domain period from a first BWP to a second BWP that is associated with one or more changes to the set of parameters.

SOUNDING REFERENCE SIGNAL ANTENNA SWITCHING IN SCHEDULED ENTITIES HAVING AT LEAST FOUR ANTENNAS

Abstract: Aspects directed towards sounding reference signal (SRS) antenna switching are disclosed. In one example, an SRS configuration is received from a network in which at least four antennas of a scheduled entity are configured based on the SRS configuration. Here, the SRS configuration configures at least one antenna to simultaneously support SRS antenna switching and an uplink (UL) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication. An SRS communication is then transmitted according to the SRS configuration. In another example, a transmission capability reporting is received from a scheduled entity comprising at least four antennas. A determination is then made of whether the scheduled entity may simultaneously support SRS antenna switching and an UL MIMO communication. An SRS configuration is then generated for the scheduled entity based on the determination in which a default SRS configuration configures at least one antenna to simultaneously support the SRS antenna switching and the UL MIMO communication.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a serving base station, a medium access control control element (MAC-CE) indicating activation or deactivation of a semi-persistent (SP) sounding reference signal (SRS)-for-positioning, wherein a reserved bit in the MAC-CE or a logical channel identifier (LCID) of a MAC subheader of the MAC-CE indicates the activation or deactivation of the SP SRS-for-positioning, and transmits the SP SRS-for-positioning on one or more SRS resources configured for the UE, the SP SRS-for-positioning having transmission parameters adopted from a spatial relation reference signal for the SP SRS-for-positioning.
