Abstract: To enable HARQ-ACK multiplexing on PUSCH in UL CA, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable medium are provided. An example method includes selecting at least one of a plurality of PUSCHs in which to multiplex one or more UCI bits, one or more of the plurality of PUSCHs being associated with one or more UL grants, the one or more UL grants including one or more UL tDAI values. The example method further includes transmitting, to a network entity, the one or more UCI bits that are multiplexed with the at least one of the plurality of PUSCHs.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to switch from a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with a first cell to a second TCI state associated with a second cell. The UE may apply the second TCI state, including switching from a first bandwidth part (BWP) associated with the first cell to a second BWP associated with the second cell. For example, the UE may receive an indication to switch from the first BWP to the second BWP. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may determine to switch from the first BWP to the second BWP based at least in part on the indication to switch from the first TCI state to the second TCI state. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for finite field parity for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook. A method that may be performed by a base station (BS) includes indicating, to a user equipment (UE), a codebook for uplink transmission of HARQ feedback, the codebook based on: (i) a number (M) of candidate downlink transmission occasions for a time period, and (ii) a maximum number (k) of downlink transmissions the UE can receive during the time period. The method also includes selecting an action to perform based on a set of codepoints of the codebook, the set of codepoints comprising: (i) a first combination of codepoints, and (ii) a second combination of codepoints different from the first combination, wherein HARQ feedback calculated from the first combination is equal to HARQ feedback calculated from the second combination.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a configurable mode for a response to random access message. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving an indication from a base station (BS) that the BS operates according to a first mode in which the BS unicasts a RACH response during a two-step RACH procedure or a second mode in which the BS multicasts the RACH response. The RACH response includes a PDCCH and PDSCH. The UE sends a RACH message to the BS comprising a preamble and payload. The UE monitors and decodes the PDCCH of the RACH response based on the indicated first mode or second mode. The UE decodes the PDSCH of the RACH response and sends feedback to the BS based on the indicated first mode or second mode.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) procedure for the random access channel (RACH) response message in a two-step RACH procedure. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes sending a RACH message to a base station (BS) during a two-step RACH procedure. The RACH message includes a RACH preamble and a RACH payload. The UE monitors a RACH response message from the BS during a random access response (RAR) window. The UE transmits a retransmission of the RACH message, an acknowledgement (ACK) to the RACH response message, a negative acknowledgment (NACK) to the RACH response message, or does not transmit, to the BS based on whether a RACH response message carrying a success RAR or a fallback RAR, or no RACH response message, is received from the BS during the window.
