Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to communications in an unlicensed spectrum with tight frequency reuse color coding are provided. A first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first reservation signal to reserve a first transmission opportunity (TXOP) in a spectrum shared by a plurality of network operating entities. The first reservation signal includes a first waveform sequence identifying at least a first network operating entity of the plurality of network operating entities associated with the first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device. The first wireless communication device communicates, with the second wireless communication device, a first communication signal in the spectrum during the TXOP.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, a report indicating that a cooperative reception group including the UE and one or more other UEs connected to the UE over an out-of-band link supports one or more downlink transmit beamforming techniques. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the one or more downlink transmit beamforming techniques supported by the cooperative reception group, a downlink transmit precoder associated with relaxed beamforming nulling. The UE may decode a downlink transmission received from the base station based at least in part on the downlink transmit precoder and one or more decoded bits received from the one or more other UEs in the cooperative reception group. Abstract: Technology-specific listen before talk (LBT) parameter adjustments are disclosed for common energy detection (ED) thresholds. Some of the technologies sharing access to the same shared communication spectrum include additional access deferral procedures. Such technologies may be configured with additional compensating features to increase the likelihood of fairness in spectrum access across all technologies sharing a common ED threshold. Such additional compensating features may include a reduced contention window size relative to the technologies that do not include such additional access deferral procedures, increased maximum channel occupancy times (COTs) for longer transmissions, and the like. Each such additional compensating feature may be available under different circumstances, such as always available or available in response to the node activating one of the additional access deferral procedures. Additionally, such additional compensating features may, once initiated, be active and available for a predetermined period of time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for block feedback of multiple semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) occasions. Block feedback may be provided based on variable feedback timing values that are associated with one or more SPS occasions. A user equipment (UE) may determine feedback for each of two or more SPS occasions, and transmit a block feedback that indicates the feedback. A separate feedback timing between a SPS occasion and uplink feedback resources may be provided for multiple SPS occasions, which are associated with a single uplink feedback resource. Alternatively, a minimum feedback timing value and a maximum feedback timing value may be configured for a particular uplink resource, and block feedback for multiple SPS occasions within the minimum and maximum feedback timing values may be reported in the uplink feedback resource.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to autonomous sidelink communication in a shared radio frequency band (e.g., in a shared spectrum or an unlicensed spectrum) are provided. A first user equipment (UE) performs a listen-before-talk (LBT) in a shared radio frequency band during at least a portion of a first sidelink frame. The first UE determines a channel occupancy time (COT) in the shared radio frequency band based on the LBT. A beginning of the COT is within the first sidelink frame and offset from a boundary of the first sidelink frame. The COT includes one or more sidelink frames subsequent to the first sidelink frame. The first UE transmits, in the shared radio frequency band, a COT indication signal at the beginning of the COT within the first sidelink frame. The COT indication signal includes COT sharing information for UEs to share the one or more sidelink frames.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment may monitor for a transmission over a set of periodically scheduled resources (e.g., semi-persistently scheduled resources)) of a downlink shared channel in an unlicensed spectrum. The user equipment may receive the transmission, where the transmission indicates a channel access configuration (e.g., a listen-before-talk configuration) for accessing the unlicensed spectrum. In some cases, the transmission may include a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) that indicates the channel access configuration. The transmission may additionally indicate at least one uplink channel over which the user equipment may transmit a message and/or a channel occupancy time associated with a successful acquisition of the unlicensed spectrum by the base station. The user equipment may transmit a message (e.g., an acknowledgement) based on the channel access configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may generate an uplink random access message, including a random access preamble and an uplink shared channel resource unit, of a two-step random access procedure. The UE may identify configuration information for uplink control information (UCI) multiplexing. The UE may identify a trigger for inclusion of UCI with the uplink random access message. The UE may multiplex the UCI and a reference signal with the uplink shared channel resource unit and map the uplink control information to resource elements in the uplink shared channel resource unit based on a priority of the uplink control information and a location of resource elements to which the reference signal is mapped. The UE may transmit the uplink random access message comprising the uplink control information and an indication of the used UCI configuration to the base station.

Abstract: Autonomous uplink (AUL) for wideband new radio (NR) unlicensed (NR-U) operations is disclosed. For user equipments (UEs) that have been configured for AUL transmissions and have received an activation signal to activate the AUL capabilities, further indications may be used to enable AUL transmissions on AUL transmission opportunities (TxOPs) that overlap the timing of a current TxOP reserved by a serving base station, but that are allocated outside of the resources reserved for the current TxOP. A UE that identifies a desired, next AUL TxOP that overlaps the current base station-initiated TxOP duration, but is allocated for resources outside of the current TxOP resources determines whether it has obtained an enablement indication either directly from the serving base station or implicitly, based on current conditions at the UE. When the UE determines that it has obtained an enabling indication, it may then perform AUL transmissions via the overlapping AUL TxOP.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may determine that a communication is to be transmitted on a shared spectrum during a channel access interval not reserved for the communication. The transmitter device may determine, based at least in part on determining that the communication is to be transmitted, that a detection power of a listen-before-talk (LBT) operation satisfies a threshold. The transmitter device may transmit, after a coordinated rate control region and based at least in part on the detection power of the LBT operation satisfying the threshold, a reservation request signal associated with the communication. The transmitter device may transmit the communication before an end of the channel access interval based at least in part on a response to the reservation request signal.
