Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for a handover procedure which may include a user equipment (UE), first base station, and a second base station. In one aspect, the UE can receive an indication to handover from the first base station to the second base station. The UE may then establish a connection with the second base station. In another aspect, the UE can maintain a connection with the first base station over a period of time during the handover. The UE can also communicate with the first base station and the second base station during the period of time based on a time division multiplexing (TDM) pattern. The TDM pattern can comprise a pattern of subframes for communicating with the first and second base station. In another aspect, the UE can release the connection with the first base station at the end of the period of time.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide a base station receiving an indication from a core network to serve multicast/broadcast traffic to one or more UEs. The base station may select a radio bearer mode from a plurality of radio bearer modes for delivery of the multicast/broadcast traffic to at least one UE of the one or more UEs. For example, the base station may select a multicast/broadcast only mode, a mixed multicast/broadcast mode and unicast mode, or a unicast mode for service of the traffic. Dependent on the selected mode and/or quality of service, the base station may select a dedicated radio bearer (DRB) for communication of the traffic in a unicast mode (e.g., to a particular UE) or a multicast radio bearer (MRB) for communication of the traffic in a broadcast/multicast mode.

A user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station a measurement configuration signal comprising a measurement resource configuration associated with a cross-link interference signal strength measurement. The UE may perform the cross-link interference signal strength measurement for one or more UEs associated with one or more intra-frequency neighboring cells according to the measurement resource configuration, wherein the cross-link interference signal strength measurement is performed during an intra-frequency measurement gap. The UE may transmit a report of the cross-link interference signal strength measurement to the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive a configuration of a page monitoring periodicity, and a configuration of a wake-up signal from a network node, such as a base station. The UE may perform discontinuous monitoring for a plurality of wake-up signals based at least in part on a wake-up signal periodicity, and receive the wake-up signal on the wake-up signal periodicity. The UE may then monitor for paging messages to receive paging information, or updates to system information, during a page monitoring period according to the page monitoring periodicity, the wake-up signal periodicity, the received wake-up signal, or a combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support techniques for wireless communications using preconfigured uplink resources. Generally, the described techniques provide for enhancement of communication features including frequency hopping, an uplink control channel, coverage enhancement, timing advance, uplink power control, reconfiguration, a downlink control channel, a downlink data channel, retransmissions, or subcarrier spacing for a UE in idle mode. The UE may receive an uplink resource configuration for uplink communications in idle mode, the uplink resource configuration comprising an indicator associated with allocated resources for the uplink communications in idle mode and a set of parameters. The UE may transmit, while in idle mode, a first uplink transmission associated with a transport block on the allocated resources and according to one or more of the parameters, and monitor for a response to the first uplink transmission.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a serving cell, signaling identifying a core network type cell ranking offset parameter. The UE may rank, based at least in part on the core network type cell ranking offset parameter, a neighbor cell for reselection relative to the serving cell, wherein the neighbor cell is associated with a different core network type than the serving cell. The UE may selectively reselect to the neighbor cell based at least in part on ranking the neighbor cell for reselection relative to the serving cell. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive a configuration of a wake-up signal periodicity and perform discontinuous monitoring for a plurality of wake-up signals based at least in part on the wake-up signal periodicity. In some cases, the UE may perform a radio resource management (RRM) measurement according to an RRM measurement periodicity that corresponds to the wake-up signal periodicity. In such cases, the UE may monitor for paging messages to receive paging information, or updates to system information, during one or more wake-up signal occasions that correspond to the RRM measurement periodicity. For instance, paging information may be received while the UE is performing RRM measurements, where paging message may be monitored for based on the wake-up signal periodicity.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enhancing ephemeris for non-terrestrial networks. For example, UEs of different orbit propagation capabilities (e.g., computing orbit propagation models of different accuracy levels) may receive additional ephemeris parameters. In one aspect, a network entity may determine at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters that includes different ephemeris parameters than one or more basic sets of ephemeris parameters associated with a satellite that provides a coverage for the network entity. The network entity may transmit broadcast signaling indicating the at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters. The UE may receive and use the at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters in an orbit propagation model to compute a state of motion of the satellite.
