Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information indicating a master cell group (MCG) maximum power value and a secondary cell group (SCG) maximum power value. The UE may determine whether a combination of the maximum power values satisfies a threshold. The UE may perform a transmission on the SCG using a first transmit power and a transmission on the MCG using a second transmit power, wherein, based on the combination of the MCG maximum power value and the SCG maximum power value satisfying the threshold, the first transmit power is determined based on a time offset, or wherein, based on the combination of the MCG maximum power value and the SCG maximum power value failing to satisfy the threshold, the first transmit power is determined without using the time offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a deadline prior to a first uplink transmission associated with a secondary cell group (SCG), wherein the first uplink transmission is associated with a first priority level; determine whether to perform a second uplink transmission associated with a master cell group (MCG), wherein the second uplink transmission is initiated after the deadline, and wherein the second uplink transmission is associated with a second priority level; and adjust a transmit power of the first uplink transmission based at least in part on at least one of: determining whether to perform the second uplink transmission, or the first priority level and the second priority level. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a notification of a change to multicast broadcast (MB) control information associated with at least one MB service to which the UE is subscribed, the MB control information being included in an MB control channel (MBCCH) scheduled by a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) communication addressed to an MB radio network temporary identifier (MB-RNTI); and monitor one or more resources of the MBCCH to receive updated MB control information based at least in part on receiving the notification of the change to the MB control information. Numerous other aspects are provided.

CLARIFICATION ON CUMULATIVE TIMING ADVANCE (TA)

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encored on computer storage media, for fifth generation (5G)-new radio (NR) physical layer (PHY) timing synchronization. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) computing device may determine a new timing advance (TA) between downlink frames and uplink frames (NTA_new) for a base station (BS) and determine whether the NTA_new may be within a timing advance acceptable range. In another aspect, a BS may determine a timing advance command (TA) for a timing advance group (TAG) for the BS, and send the TA to the UE computing device. In determining the timing advance command, the TA may be configured by the BS to cause the UE computing device to determine that a new timing advance between downlink frames and uplink frames (NTA_new) for the BS using the TA is within a timing advance acceptable range.

    CELL WITH COMBINED NONCONTIGUOUS SPECTRUMS

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for configuring for communications on noncontiguous carriers of a single cell. By combining multiple noncontiguous carriers into a single cell, broadcast overhead can be reduced and cell management (i.e., only one cell) can be simplified. For example, a network entity may transmit to a user equipment (UE) configuration information that configures the UE for communications on noncontiguous carriers of a single cell. The network entity and the UE may then communicate on the noncontiguous carriers in accordance with the configuration information.
