    Abstract: In some scenarios, SRS transmission over the full SRS bandwidth may be unnecessary and/or inefficient. Therefore, a need exists for approaches to SRS transmission over less than the full SRS bandwidth. Described herein are techniques and solutions of SRS transmission using only a portion of the full SRS bandwidth, or a partial SRS bandwidth. The present disclosure provides for SRS transmission using a partial SRS bandwidth through sounding patterns that use only the partial SRS bandwidth and/or using a partial SRS bandwidth through various SRS sequence generation configured for the partial SRS bandwidth. An apparatus receives an SRS configuration indicating a full SRS bandwidth; determines a frequency hopping pattern for SRS transmission based on the SRS configuration, and the frequency hopping pattern is limited to a partial SRS bandwidth less than the full SRS bandwidth; and transmits the SRS transmission to the base station based on the frequency hopping pattern.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for port selection for channel state feedback with analog feedforward. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes selecting one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) ports, of a plurality of CSI-RS ports, for the UE to report CSI. The port selection includes selecting any of the plurality of CSI-RS ports for selecting CSI-RS based on a grouping of the plurality of CSI-RS ports. The UE determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) formed by a linear combination of the one or more selected CSI-RS ports. The UE computes at least wideband linear combination coefficients for the selected CSI-RS ports. The UE provides the selected one or more CSI-RS ports and the computed wideband linear combination coefficients to a base station (BS) in a CSI report.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a first part of a channel state information (CSI) report, wherein the first part includes an indication of whether a value of a second part of the CSI report matches a value of a previous CSI report; and selectively transmit the second part of the CSI report based at least in part on whether the indication indicates that the value of the second part of the CSI report matches the value of the previous CSI report. In some aspects, a UE may determine a modified subband size of the UE, wherein the modified subband size is different than a configured subband size of the UE; and transmit, in a CSI report, an indication regarding the modified subband size to a base station.
