Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiver may receive, from a transmitter, an indication of a modulation signature associated with a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). The receiver may receive a signal that uses the modulation signature, wherein the modulation signature identifies a link associated with the RIS and the transmitter. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: An aspect of this disclosure relates to a relay node, and a method of wireless communications by the relay node, including attempting to decode first code block groups of a transport block received in a resource allocation and according to a first encoding configuration. The aspects include identifying a symbol in the resource allocation that includes both of a first part of a successfully decoded one, and a first part of an unsuccessfully decoded one, of the plurality of first code block groups, and determining a modified transmit configuration for the symbol. Further, the aspects include encoding a second part of the successfully decoded one according to the first encoding configuration to define a second code block group that is outside of the symbol. Additionally, the aspects include transmitting the transport block including the one or more second code block groups and the symbol according to the modified transmit configuration.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for assigning one or more user equipments (UEs) at one or more corresponding starting positions of multiple slots to perform channel access procedures, such as listen before talk (LBT) procedures in New Radio unlicensed band (NR-U) sidelink communications. The network entity may indicate, to a UE, a starting position in a multi-opportunity grant (e.g., a DCI scheduling multiple slots). The network entity may multiplex different transmitter UEs with different starting positions. If the channel accessing procedure is successful, the transmitter UE with the earliest starting position than the rest may block the rest of the transmitter UEs. In some cases, starting position hopping may be used so that the multiple UEs may have different priority at different slots. In some cases, the DCI may include LBT parameters that are inherited from NR-U uplink transmission configurations.

Abstract: A user equipment maps a high priority hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgment/negative acknowledgment (HARQ-ACK/NACK) information to one or more resource elements (REs), and maps one or more of a low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK information, channel state information (CSI), or uplink-shared channel (UL-SCH) data to REs while rate matching around the mapped high priority HARQ-ACK/NACK REs. A network entity receives an uplink transmission, including high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK information, CSI, and UL-SCH data mapped to high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK REs, CSI REs. and UL-SCH REs, respectively. The low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK REs, the CSI REs, and the UL-SCH REs are rate matched around the high priority HARQ-ACK/N ACK REs. The network entity demaps and decodes the REs of the high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK, the CSI, and UL-SCH to obtain the high and low priority HARQ-ACK/NACK information, CSI, and UL-SCH data.

MULTIPLE SIMULTANEOUS SSBs WITH SSB-SPECIFIC RACH OCCASIONS OR PREAMBLE SUBSETS

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure allow a base station to simultaneously send SSBs to a UE and to associate different ROs or designated subsets of preambles with the simultaneously transmitted SSBs. The base station may configure a time or frequency offset for different ROs, or a number of preamble cyclic shifts associated with the SSBs. The base station then simultaneously sends a plurality of SSBs to the UE, where each of the SSBs is associated with a different beam, and where each of the SSBs is associated with a different RO or a designated subset of preambles. After the UE simultaneously obtains the SSBs from the base station, the UE may determine the offset for one of the different ROs, or the number of preamble cyclic shifts associated with one of the SSBs. The UE may then send a preamble to the base station in response to the determination.
