Abstract: This application provides a link failure recovery method and apparatus. When a link failure occurs and link recovery is performed, if a terminal device determines that no new link is identified, according to the method, the terminal device may report, to a network device, an identifier of a cell in which the link failure occurs and information indicating whether a new link is identified for each cell. The network device may reconfigure a new resource set based on the information, and notify the terminal device of the new resource set by using downlink control information DCI. In other words, a reference signal in another resource set is triggered by using the DCI, and the reference signal in the resource set is reported for link recovery.

Abstract: Devices, methods and computer readable medium for two-part feedback information transmission in wireless communications are provided. The two-part feedback information transmission is adopted, e.g., for improved downlink multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) precoding in time-division duplex (TDD)-based communication systems. The feedback information transmission allows compensating for adverse effects of incomplete UL-DL reciprocity for DL MIMO precoding caused by mismatched DL and UL channel measurements. The feedback information transmission being two-part allows low overhead for the feedback information.

Abstract: This application provides a link failure recovery method and apparatus. A terminal is configured to send first request information to a network device on the same resource (namely, a first resource) when detecting that a link of any one of a plurality of cells fails or the links of more than one of the plurality of cells fail, to notify the network device that a link of at least one of the cells fails. In this way, in a multi-carrier scenario resource overheads are reduced as compared to the solution of using separate resources to notify link failures in multiple cells.
