    Abstract: Provided are a display panel and a display device comprising the same. The display panel includes a substrate including a planar portion, a first edge portion extending from one side of the planar portion, a second edge portion extending from the other side of the planar portion, a first side surface portion extending from one side of the first edge portion, and a first corner portion disposed between the first edge portion and the second edge portion; first data lines disposed in a display area of the planar portion; second data lines disposed in a display area of the first side surface portion; first fan-out lines disposed in a non-display area of the planar portion and connected to the first data lines; second fan-out lines disposed in the first corner portion and connected to the second data lines; and an encapsulation film covering the first data lines, the second data lines, and the first fan-out lines.

    Abstract: A display device and a method for manufacturing same are provided. A display device comprises: a first electrode; a second electrode arranged to be spaced apart from and face the first electrode; a first insulation pattern having at least partial region arranged to overlap the first electrode and having a first side surface spaced apart from a first end portion of the first electrode; a second insulation pattern having at least a partial region arranged to overlap the second electrode and having a second side surface spaced apart from a second end portion of the second electrode facing the first end portion, the second side surface facing the first side surface; at least one uneven pattern provided on the first insulation pattern and the second insulation pattern; and at least one light-emitting element provided between the first insulation pattern and the second insulation pattern and having opposite end portions that are electrically connected to the first electrode and the second electrode, respectively.

    Abstract: A display device and a method of driving the same are provided. The method of driving the display includes a display area to display an image. The method includes performing a first first pixel shift driving by shifting an image by a first range in the display area without loss of image information due to enlargement or reduction of the image, checking whether a change of a block grayscale value is greater than or equal to a threshold in an interest area in the display area, and performing second pixel shift driving by shifting an image having the loss of image information.

    Abstract: A light-emitting element including a first electrode, a second electrode provided on the first electrode, and an emission layer provided between the first electrode and the second electrode, a display device and a fused polycyclic compound are provided. The emission layer includes a fused polycyclic compound that may be a dopant material (e.g., thermally activated delayed fluorescence dopant). The emission layer may further include second to fourth compounds.
    The fused polycyclic compound has a pentacyclic core that includes three aromatic rings fused by one boron and two nitrogen atoms. At least one substituent on the pentacyclic core is an electron-donating, tricyclic fused ring and is connected at a para-position with respect to boron. Due to steric demand the molecular shape of the fused polycyclic compound becomes twisted, which results in modulation of the difference between singlet and triplet energy states and the rate of reverse inter-system crossing of the fused polycyclic compound.
