Abstract:
A stator of a switched reluctance motor includes a stator core part, stator coiling parts, stator salient parts, and pairs of permanent magnets. The stator coiling parts protrude inwardly from the stator core part and have coils wound on an external side thereof. The stator salient parts protrude inwardly from the stator core part and are disposed between the stator coiling parts. Each pair of the permanent magnets is inserted into each of the stator coiling parts and magnetized in the same direction as a direction of a magnetic field generated by the excitation of the coils. This stator has an electromagnetic structure designed to prevent the reversal of a magnetic field generated by the excited coils. The output of the motor is enhanced by inserting the permanent magnets so as to be magnetized in the same direction as a direction of a magnetic field generated by the excited coils.
Abstract:
A method for transmitting device indicator data in a network-based AV system is provided. The method for transmitting the device indicator data records device indicator data on a data unit which is used in an AV transmission protocol, and transmits the data unit. Accordingly, the indicator data which changes in real time in a network AV device can be rapidly transmitted to a management platform.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for determining network link quality between a master station and slave stations in a wireless network system having a synchronous superframe structure. The method for determining link quality in a wireless network system includes determining whether the current station is a master or a slave, when the current station is a master, comparing a time value during which the latest packets were received from slaves and a maximum time value during which the slaves are not obliged to exchange packets with the master after accessing a network, and determining link quality between the slaves and the master according to the comparison result.
Abstract:
Provided is a lower power and high efficiency millimeter-wave modulation apparatus capable of modulating digital data into transmitting signals in a millimeter frequency band, the millimeter-wave modulation apparatus including; a modulation part, which carries out a modulation of a constant envelope attribute, and to which a first local oscillation signal is fixed according to a rate of input data; a phase shifter adopted to shift a phase of an output of the modulation part; a power amplifier adopted to amplify an output of the phase shifter; and an antenna connected to an output of the power amplifier.
Abstract:
A positive electrode material for a secondary battery and a method for manufacturing the same are provided, in which manganese fluorophosphate containing lithium or sodium can be used as an electrode material. That is, a positive electrode material for a lithium/sodium battery is provided, in which intercalation/deintercalation of sodium/lithium ions is possible due to a short lithium diffusion distance caused by nanosizing of particles. Furthermore, a positive electrode material for a lithium/sodium battery is provided, which has electrochemical activity due to an increase in electrical conductivity by effective carbon coating.
Abstract:
A method and system for monitoring energy consumption is provided. The method for monitoring energy consumption estimates a number of people in a room based on an indoor CO2 concentration, and determines whether an amount of energy consumed indoors is proper or not based on the estimated number of people in the room. Accordingly, a waste of energy can be prevented by monitoring when a proper amount of energy is consumed in comparison with the number of people in a room. In addition, the number of people in the room can be easily estimated at low cost prior to determining whether energy consumption is proper or not.
Abstract:
An example terminal includes a communication circuitry configured to communicate with a server; and a data processor configured to request the server to include a second user in a relationship group of a first user and to extend, to the relationship group, a range of authorization for an Internet of Things (IoT) apparatus registered as an apparatus of the first user.
Abstract:
A method of organizing a user-customizable content adaptation object being performed on a user-customizable content adaptation object organizing server, the server being coupled to a user terminal, the method includes: (a) classifying at least one resource based on a context category; (b) selecting at least one classified content adaptation object based on a context to associate the at least one classified content adaptation object with an object collector, the at least one classified content adaptation object respectively corresponding to a computer-executable object, and being capable of receiving a remote response by the user terminal or being applied to the user terminal; (c) generating a collector layout page including the at least one content adaptation object in the object collector; and (d) providing the generated collector layout page to the user terminal.
Abstract:
An open M2M system and a method are provided. A method for managing resources according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: registering resources existing in a first domain at a second domain; and discovering metadata of a desired resource in the second domain. Accordingly, information management and sharing can be optimized, and registration and discovery of resources can be supported to be performed on a global scale.
Abstract:
A radio frequency (RF) switch with a transformer and a switching method thereof are provided. The RF switch includes a transmitting end transformer having a primary side connected to a transmitting end and a secondary side connected to an antenna; and a receiving end transformer having a primary side connected to the antenna and a secondary side connected to a receiving end. In a transmission mode, the transmitting end transformer is tuned on, and, in a reception mode, the receiving end transformer is turned on. Accordingly, since switching is performed based on transformers rather than transistors connected in series, the RS switch, which can achieve high linearity and low insertion loss as well as high isolation, can be implemented.
