    摘要: A boost circuit is arranged to reduce rise and fall times of pulsed power used for pulsed control operation of electric machines. Magnetic energy present in the electric machine at the end of a pulse is extracted by the boost circuit to reduce the pulse fall time. The energy is stored by the boost circuit and then applied at the beginning of a subsequent pulse to reduce the rise time. By reducing rise and fall times compared to not using such a boost circuit, machine efficiency is improved.

    摘要: A method for operating a drive device for a motor vehicle is provided, wherein the drive device has an electric machine which is electrically connected to a DC power source via an inverter controlled by means of pulse width modulation. The pulse width modulation is performed depending on a predetermined duty cycle. When the duty cycle that is less than a threshold value, a continuous pulse width modulation is used to control the inverter. The pulse width modulation is switched to a discontinuous pulse width modulation when the threshold value is exceeded. A motor vehicle and a drive device for a motor vehicle are also provided.

Pulsing the electric machine includes exiting the rotor with direction current and the stator with a stator biasing current at the same time to generate magnetic flux in the rotor via two separate paths. Pulsing the electric machine may also include terminating the stator basing current when a desired magnetic flux is generated in the rotor. Pulsing the electric machine may include proving a stator flux to the stator such that the electric machine provides a pulse torque.

    摘要: A three-phase digital power inverter system controlled by a MCU thereof is provided, wherein during a constant current power source for accelerator control in combination with a three-wire potentiometer are inputted to a MCU for qualification and calculation base on a computation algorithm to obtain data, an accelerator line state and a brake line state are detected simultaneously for whether they are working well individually, so as to effectively prevent any electrical failure due to mechanical failure of the accelerator or the brake or open circuit/short circuit of the accelerator line or the brake line that may cause accident due to out of control of the accelerator or brake respectively. These are the potential risk factors of electric motor vehicles while the present invention can substantially eliminate such potential factor and provide a more reliable performance of electric motor vehicles.

    摘要: A voltage saturation prevention algorithm used as at least part of a method of controlling an electric vehicle, wherein the electric vehicle comprises an electric motor, a controller, and an inverter. The controller receives a control signal with an instruction to operate the electric motor, then sends a switching signal corresponding to the control signal to the inverter, wherein the inverter provides a plurality of output signals for operation of the electric motor. The method includes determining the expected amplitude of the plurality of output signals based on the instruction to operate the electric motor, calculating the amount of modification of the plurality of output signals required to prevent the expected amplitude from reaching a saturation value, and modifying, based on the calculation, the instruction to operate the electric motor to prevent the expected amplitude from reaching the saturation value. The method is implemented in software, without any additional hardware.
