Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display device includes preparing a display panel that includes a first area, a bending area extending from the first area, and a second area extending from the bending area, attaching an anti-reflection layer to the display panel, removing a first removal section of a first releasing film disposed on the anti-reflection layer, the first removal section overlapping the second area of the display panel in a plan view, and providing a cover tape onto a first section of the anti-reflection layer that overlaps the second area of the display panel in a plan view.

Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel comprising a light emitting area and a non-light-emitting area; an input sensor on the display panel; and an anti-reflective layer on the input sensor, the input sensor comprising: a sensing electrode on the display panel and having a first opening defined therethrough to correspond to the light emitting area; a first insulating layer between the sensing electrode and the display panel and having a second opening defined therethrough to correspond to the first opening; and a second insulating layer comprising a first portion inside at least the first opening and the second opening, wherein one of the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer comprises an organic material, the other of the first insulating layer and the second insulating layer comprises an inorganic material, and the first opening has a substantially same shape as the second opening in a plan view.

Abstract: A display device includes a window, a display panel disposed under the window, and an input sensor disposed between the window and the display panel and having a center area and a corner area disposed outside of the center area. The input sensor includes a first sensor part disposed in the center area and a second sensor part disposed in the corner area. The first sensor part includes first unit electrodes. The second sensor part includes a second unit electrode including a first part overlapping a first area and a second part extending from the first part and overlapping a first portion of a second area adjacent to the first area. A third unit electrode overlaps a second portion of the second area. The area of the second unit electrode is equal to or greater than the area of each of the first unit electrodes.

Abstract: A method of molding a window for a display device includes: forming curved side surfaces and curved corners of the window, by pressing a heated preliminary window glass to a mold. The mold includes: a flat portion corresponding to a flat display portion of the display device; a window side surface bending portion corresponding to the side surfaces of the display device; and a window corner bending portion corresponding to the corners of the display device. The forming the curved side surfaces of the window includes pressing the heated preliminary window glass against the window side surface bending portion of the mold; and after the forming of the curved side surfaces, forming the curved corners and a flat portion of the window by further pressing the heated preliminary window glass respectively against the window corner bending portion and the flat portion of the mold.
