Abstract: In an aspect, a UE determines a power consumption of the UE for a position estimation procedure based on a set of power consumption parameters associated with the UE, the set of power consumption parameters comprising one or more layer-specific parameters associated with a set of positioning frequency layers (PFL), a Positioning frequency layer processing capability of the UE, a positioning reference signal (PRS) resource processing capability of the UE, a PRS measurement type capability of the UE, a positioning session processing capability of the UE, or a combination thereof. The UE performs one or more positioning measurements associated with the position estimation procedure in accordance with the determined power consumption.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) indicating paging information for a paging message; and receive the paging message on one or more physical downlink shared channels (PDSCHs), wherein at least one of: one or more resources for the one or more PDCCHs, or one or more resources for the one or more PDSCHs, is configured so that cross-slot scheduling of paging and intra-slot scheduling of paging can occur during the same paging occasion. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: In the examples described herein, a user equipment (UE) may identify multiple carriers configured for communications with a base station, and the UE may group the carriers into one or more preferred groups for synchronized scheduling at the base station. The preferred groups of carriers for synchronized scheduling may represent a recommendation that carriers within a preferred group are to be scheduled for communications with the base station on at least partially overlapping resources to maximize power savings at the UE. The UE may transmit an indication of the preferred groups of carriers to the base station, and the base station may identify an actual group of carriers for synchronized scheduling based on the indication received from the UE. The base station may then schedule communications with the UE based on the actual group of carriers.

Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein permit a user equipment (UE) to transition among different power configurations, which include different values for different power parameters, that impact an amount of power consumed by the UE. In some aspects, these transitions may be signaled by a base station based at least in part on traffic volume for the UE, which may assist with improving throughput and/or extending battery life of the UE. Furthermore, these transitions may be signaled dynamically, such as in downlink control information (DCI) and/or a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) MAC-CE, which may conserve battery power and/or network resources as compared to reconfiguring the UE using an RRC message, and which may allow the UE to be reconfigured quickly as conditions associated with the UE change.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a base station, a user equipment, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided. The base station may configure resource allocation for wakeup signaling based at least in part on one or more resource patterns corresponding to different user equipment groups and/or antenna port configurations. The user equipment may receive a wakeup signal based at least in part on the resource allocation, detect the wakeup signal based at least in part on a preamble of the wakeup signal, and receive a subsequent communication based at least in part on the wakeup signal. Numerous other aspects are provided.
