    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may communicate in an unlicensed spectrum (e.g., a shared radio frequency spectrum band). As such, the UE may determine a codebook size for transmitting hybrid access request (HARQ) acknowledgement (ACK) feedback with respect to the unlicensed spectrum. Accordingly, the UE may base the HARQ ACK codebook size on a number of HARQ processes with which the UE has been configured. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may base the HARQ ACK codebook size on a number and/or duration of downlink channel monitoring occasions indicated by the base station. In some cases, the UE may base the HARQ ACK codebook size on a combination of the techniques described herein.

A first wireless communication device communicates with a second wireless communication device, a first configuration indicating a plurality of bandwidth parts in a frequency band, the plurality of bandwidth parts based on an expected channel access pattern associated with a listen-before-talk (LBT) in the frequency band.     Abstract: Over-the-air (OTA) dynamic time division duplex (TDD) is disclosed with a channel use indicator (CUI) receiver (CUI-R) signal multiplexed in uplink transmissions. According to various aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink grant from a serving base station, in which the downlink grant identifies downlink transmissions in one or more subsequent communication slots. The UE may identify a trigger for transmission of a channel usage signal associated with the grant that may be received by neighboring UEs that may potentially interfere. The UE transmits the channel usage signal in a next scheduled uplink region and then receives downlink data from the serving base station according to the downlink grant. If the neighboring UE receives a conditional uplink grant, then it may proceed with uplink transmissions when it fails to detect the channel usage signal from the UE.

    Abstract: A base station (BS) may transmit, and a user equipment (UE) may receive, a physical broadcast channel, such as a narrowband physical broadcast channel (NB-PBCH). In an interference-limited scenario with synchronous cells in a network, repetitions of a symbol being transmitted for a first physical broadcast channel of a first cell may collide with repetitions of a symbol being transmitted for a second physical broadcast channel of a second cell. This may result in the UE being unable to recover symbols of a physical broadcast channel. In some aspects, the BS may transmit, and the UE may receive, a physical broadcast channel including bits processed using a first processing stage, such as using first scrambling sequences, and a second processing stage, such as using second scrambling sequences, to compensate for the interference, thereby ensuring that the UE can recover the symbols of the physical broadcast channel.
