    Abstract: The present disclosure provides solutions to sidelink transmission/reception problems by preparing waveforms for multiple resource blocks (RBs) in a given bandwidth. Upon determining the availability of RBs or sets of RBs the apparatuses and methods of the present disclosure allow for dynamic determination and use of available sidelink frequencies. An apparatus may comprise a memory and at least one processor coupled to the memory and configured to transmit and/or receive sidelink data in at least one contiguous set of RBs within a bandwidth part (BWP) of an unlicensed frequency band, the BWP including a plurality of RB sets, wherein the SL data is transmitted and/or received in a waveform generated for at least one of the plurality of RB sets prior to a listen-before-talk procedure indicating an availability of the at least one contiguous set of RBs for transmission.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may perform a first transmission to one or more receiving devices, the first transmission associated with a transmission type. The transmitting device may determine a feedback response for the first transmission based on monitoring for feedback messages from the one or more receiving devices in response to the first transmission. The transmitting device may select a contention window size for performing one or more subsequent transmissions based at least in part on the feedback response and the transmission type. The transmitting device may perform the one or more subsequent transmissions in accordance with a clear channel assessment procedure using the selected contention window size.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide a method for wireless communications by a transmitter user equipment (UE). The method may include receiving (e.g., from a network entity) a configuration of a first resource pool associated with a second resource pool. The first resource pool includes physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resources for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) responses for physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) transmissions in the second resource pool. The method further includes transmitting (e.g., to a receiver UE) a PSSCH on a resource in the second resource pool and a request for a HARQ response for the PSSCH from a PSFCH resource in the first resource pool. The method further includes receiving (e.g., from the receiver UE) the HARQ response over the PSFCH resource (e.g., in response to the PSSCH).
