摘要： Systems and method for mounting a vehicle topper to a roof of a vehicle are provided. A first and second cross bar are secured to the roof of the vehicle. A housing for first and second electronic displays of the vehicle topper is secured to the cross bars by way of mounting brackets. Wiring is extended between the vehicle topper and an outside power source to establish an electrical pathway between the power source and the first and second electronic displays when connected.

An access opening through a wall of the housing may be provided to facilitate removal of an electrical assembly through the housing while the display remains mounted to a vertical surface.

摘要： Methods for measuring power consumption include providing an assembly with electronic display subassemblies at a housing. The subassemblies each include light sources behind or adjacent to an electronic display layer and electricity consuming components. A simulated electric meter is electrically interposed between a utility electric supply and the electricity consuming components. The simulated electric meter includes a processor, an electronic storage device, and a current sensor. The assembly is operated. Current measurements are taken at the simulated electric meter. The power consumed is determined by multiplying each of the one or more current measurements with a predetermined amount or measurements from a voltage sensor to determine one or more power consumption measures.

摘要： Systems and methods for cooling an electronic image assembly are provided. A transparent panel forms a front portion of a housing for the electronic image assembly. The transparent panel is located forward of, and at least some distance from the electronic image assembly. An airflow pathway passes through the housing between said electronic image assembly and said transparent panel. An air circulation device forces air through the airflow pathway. At least one polarizer located at the transparent panel is configured to reduce solar energy entering said airflow pathway.

摘要： An assembly for an electronic display includes a digital side assembly and an access panel mounted to a frame. The digital side assembly includes a housing, a display layer located behind a cover panel, a front channel between the display layer and the cover panel, and a side assembly open loop channel behind the display layer. A cooling channel is located between the frame and the rear surfaces of the access panel and the digital side assembly. An open loop pathway for ambient air includes the side assembly open loop channel and an access panel open loop channel. A closed loop pathway for circulating gas includes the cooling channel and the front channel.

摘要： A system and method for remotely verifying images shown on an electronic display is provided. A video player is electrically connected to the electronic display and causes the images to be displayed thereon. A processor directs a screen capture device to take a screen capture when a particular image is scheduled to be shown on the electronic display. The screen capture is stored on an electronic storage device and may be transferred to a networked database via a network connection device. A client may be able to access the screen captures through a user interface in connectivity with the networked database.
