Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for updating system information in a wireless LAN system. A method for updating system information in a station (STA) of a wireless communication system may comprise transmitting, by the STA which stores system information and a configuration change count value of a previously linked preferred access point (AP), a probe request frame for active scanning to the preferred AP; and receiving a probe response frame from the preferred AP. Preferably, the probe request frame includes a configuration change count field previously acquired from the preferred AP, and if a value of the configuration change count field included in the probe request frame is different from a present configuration change count value of the preferred AP, the probe response frame may include one or more elements of system information which should be updated by the STA.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for scanning in a wireless LAN. The method may comprise the following steps: an STA determining identifier information of an AP to be included in a probe request frame as a wildcard SSID and a wildcard BSSID, based on a first MLME; the STA receiving from the AP a frame including information on the BSSID of the AP and the SSID of the AP before a probe delay time expires; the STA determining wither the AP is a target AP based on the BSSID and the SSID; the STA redetermining the identifier information of the AP to be included in the probe request frame based on the BSSID and the SSID, when the AP is the target AP; and the STA unicasting a probe request frame that is re-determined based on the BSSID and the SSID.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for an initial access over a wireless LAN. The method for an initial access by a station (STA) comprises: a step in which the STA receives initial access setup information from an access point (AP); and a step in which the STA determines whether to implement the initial access on the basis of the initial access setup information and the initial access decision information of the STA. Accordingly, the initial access of the STA can be distributed.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of controlling network access and an apparatus therefore, wherein the method comprises: receiving a first field for indicating network overload situation and a second field for indicating a network access priority; and receiving at least one of a N-bit field for indicating a first back-off window and a M-bit field for indicating a second back-off window, wherein if a configured priority is equal to or higher than the network access priority, a random access (RA) procedure is performed using the first back-off window, wherein if the configured priority is lower than the network access priority, the RA procedure is selectively barred or performed using at least one of the first back-off window and the second back-off window.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for receiving an ACK frame in a WLAN system are proposed. Specifically, a first STA transmits a plurality of first MPDUs in a first transmitting TDD slot to a second STA. The first STA receives a first ACK frame for the plurality of first MPDUs from the second STA in a first receiving TDD slot. The first STA transmits a second MPDU to the second STA in a second transmitting TDD slot. The first STA receives a second ACK frame for the second MPDU from the second STA in a second receiving TDD slot.
Abstract:
In a wireless local area network system including a plurality of types of access points (APs), a first type AP receives a trigger frame from a second type AP, wherein the trigger frame may include first information related to resource allocation for a first block acknowledgment (BA) frame transmitted by a station (STA) to the first type AP. The first type AP may transmit, to the STA, a physical protocol data unit (PPDU) including data for the STA and the first information. The first type AP may receive, from the STA, the first BA frame on the basis of the first information.
Abstract:
A wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method for performing efficient signaling for a reserved sub-band in a wireless LAN system, and a method and an apparatus for signal transmission using the same. To this end, an STA provides resource allocation information for transmitting data to a plurality of STAs using an orthogonal frequency divisional multiple access (OFDMA) or multiple user MIMO (MU-MIMO) method; transmits the resource allocation information to the plurality of STAs; and transmits data to the plurality of STAs according to the resource allocation information. The entire frequency band may include a sub-band which is not used for the data transmission, and it is preferable that the resource allocation information includes a resource allocation bitmap having a form common to the plurality of STAs and indication information which informs a sub-band, from among the entire frequency band, which is not used for the data transmission.
Abstract:
Proposed herein is a method and device for receiving a WUR discovery frame in a wireless LAN system. More specifically, a station (STA) receives a WUR discovery element from an access point (AP). The STA receives the WUR discovery frame from a neighbor AP based on the WUR discovery element. The WUR discovery element includes AP list information. The AP list information includes information on a WUR discovery period. The WUR discovery frame is received during the WUR discovery period.
Abstract:
A method performed in a wireless local area network (LAN) system according to various embodiments is associated with a first station (STA) supporting multi-links comprising first and second links. A control field associated with an operating mode (OM) of the first STA can be associated with the on-off of the first link and/or the second link. The first and second links can each be a channel for various bandwidths defined in, for example, 2.4 GHz band, 5 GHz band and 6 GHz band. The first and second links can belong to the same or different bands. On-off information relating to each link can be formed on the basis of information such as an index or a control field bitmap associated with the operating mode.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for transmitting a PPDU on the basis of an S-TDMA in a wireless LAN system are presented. Particularly, an AP transmits a trigger frame to a first STA and a second STA. The AP receives, on the basis of the trigger frame, a first trigger-based frame from the first STA and a second trigger-based frame from the second STA. The trigger frame includes a common information field and a user information field. The common information field includes S-TDMA indication information enabling the S-TDMA to be performed. The user information field includes: allocation information on a first RU to which the first trigger-based frame and the second trigger-based frame are transmitted; first symbol offset information on the first trigger-based frame; and second symbol offset information on the second trigger-based frame.
