    Abstract: Embodiments herein may relate to transmission, in a first physical channel transmission, of an indication of a first set of parameters related to a control channel; and transmission, in a control channel transmission using the first set of parameters, of an indication of a second set of parameters related to the control channel. Further embodiments may relate to identifying a first parameter related to interleaving REGBs of a PDCCH transmission, wherein the first parameter is selected from a first plurality of parameters; interleaving the REGBs based on the first parameter to form a CCE, and transmitting die CCE in the PDCCH transmission.     Abstract: A device of a User Equipment (UE) includes a soft buffer including a plurality of soft buffer partitions to store a plurality of soft bits for a number of hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) processes, wherein the number of HARQ processes includes first HARQ processes corresponding to a first Time Transmission Interval (TTI) Type of a first duration (TTI Type 1), and second HARQ processes corresponding to a second TTI Type of a second duration (TTI Type 2) shorter than the first duration. The device further includes processing circuitry to communicate with a base station in a cellular network, the processing circuitry further to effect a dynamic switching between a TTI Type 1 communication mode and a TTI Type 2 communication mode, and to selectively access the soft buffer partitions to perform, based on the switching, at least one of the first HARQ processes and the second HARQ process.

    Abstract: Technology for a user equipment (UE), operable for an uplink partial subframe transmission on an unlicensed carrier is disclosed. The UE can select one or more uplink (UL) partial subframe configurations based on one or more prospective lengths of a listen before talk (LBT) period, wherein each prospective length of the LBT period provides a prospective starting time. The UE can encode data for each of the one or more UL partial subframe configurations to form one or more UL partial subframe configuration encodings. The UE can identify an actual LBT period. The UE can select one of the one or more UL partial subframe configuration encodings for UL transmission of the data on the unlicensed carrier based on the actual LBT period and a corresponding prospective starting time.

The UE can decode resource allocation information for a first radio frequency (RF) bandwidth including a primary subband available to the UE for data communication.     Abstract: A user equipment (UE) or network device gNB can process or generate downlink control information transmissions for new radio (NR) systems or networks based on a compact DCI format. The DCI can include a grouped broadcast message for reduced signaling overhead that comprises random access response (RAR) message, a paging message, a system information block (SIB) message, another message information type, or any combination thereof. The DCI transmission can be determined as comprising paging information based on a direct indication in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) only or both in the PDCCH and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) based on a flag field of the DCI transmission. Other configurations can also further reduce signaling overhead additionally or alternatively.

    Abstract: Devices and methods of receiving a PDCCH-less xSIB are generally described. A UE receive a xPBCH that occurs in a 0th or a 25th subframe and an ePBCH in an ePBCH transmission block. The ePBCH has the xSIB and is received on different Tx beams. The ePBCH spans consecutive symbols on the same subcarrier and with the same ePBCH symbol. The frame number, subframe number and symbol number of the ePBCH is dependent on a subframe number and symbol number of the xPBCH. The number of beams received for a particular symbol is dependent on a total number of beams, a beam sweeping time for the beams and a transmission periodicity of the xPBCH and ePBCH. The UE also uses different OCCs to demodulate a DMRS from different APs, in a same PRB as the ePBCH.
