Abstract: The present disclosure relates to time synchronization methods and apparatus. In one example method, a terminal receives a system information block (SIB) sent by a distributed unit (DU), where the SIB is generated by the DU, the SIB includes time information, and the time information indicates a moment corresponding to a boundary of a system frame number (SFN) at which an end boundary of a system information (SI) window for sending the SIB is located, or indicates a moment corresponding to a boundary of an SFN immediately after an end boundary of an SI window for sending the SIB. The UE processes the time information to obtain a time reference.

Abstract: A data sending method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, configuration information sent by a network device, where the configuration information is used to configure a non-scheduling resource; and starting, by the terminal device when a condition is met, a first timer, where the non-scheduling resource is not used for sending uplink data within duration of the first timer. According to the method, a timer is set on the terminal device, and the timer is used to instruct the terminal device whether to send data on a non-scheduling resource. Therefore, a data sending success rate and a communication latency of the terminal device can be effectively balanced.

Abstract: A reference time determining method and apparatus are provided, to prevent aberrations in a control instruction execution time caused by inconsistency between a reference time of a terminal and a reference time of a control device in the conventional technology. In this application, the terminal may receive a plurality of pieces of time reference information sent by the network device. When the terminal receives indication information from the network device, the terminal may select, based on the indication information, one piece of time reference information from the plurality of pieces of time reference information as first time reference information. Abstract: This application provides an Ethernet data-based communication method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device from a network device, a parameter used to indicate a first Ethernet compression capability; generating a first Ethernet packet based on the parameter of the first Ethernet compression capability; and sending the first Ethernet packet to the network device. Therefore, not only a manner in which the network device enables the terminal device to use an Ethernet compression capability is proposed, but also the terminal device and the network device can transmit compressed Ethernet data in a wireless network, thereby effectively saving resources.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus may be applied to a network slice architecture. The method includes: a terminal sends, to an access network device, first data and indication information used to indicate a first slice corresponding to the first data, and the access network device may determine, based on a mapping relationship between a slice and a tunnel, a first tunnel corresponding to the first slice. In other words, different slices may correspond to different tunnels, that is, data corresponding to different slices may be transmitted through different tunnels. In this way, the access network device can reduce congestion caused because data is simultaneously transmitted through a same tunnel for communication, thereby helping improve communication efficiency.

Abstract: A communications method and apparatus. The communications method includes: transmitting a first request to a network device through a first resource, where the first request is used to request beam failure recovery of a first cell or is used to request system information of the first cell, the first resource is a resource of a second cell, and the first cell and the second cell are serving cells of a same terminal; and receiving a first response corresponding to the first request from the network device. Therefore, when a terminal has a plurality of serving cells, the terminal may transmit a request across cells (or across carriers), to improve transmission reliability.
