Abstract: Electronic display assemblies are disclosed which include a housing, an electronic display located within the housing, a first airflow pathway extending through the housing between an intake and an exhaust and a second airflow pathway, separated from the first airflow pathway, and forming a closed, continuous pathway within the housing. A panel is spaced apart from the electronic display and at least partially defining and separating the first and second airflow pathways, where at least a portion of the first airflow pathway extends between a rear surface of the electronic display and a forward surface of the panel, and where at least a portion of the second airflow pathway extends between a rear surface of the panel and a forward surface of a rear portion of the housing. Electronic component(s) for operating the electronic display assembly are located within the second airflow pathway.

Abstract: Display units for executing operational updates in a prioritized fashion are disclosed. A control subsystem is in electronic communication with an electronic display, sensor(s), and a thermal management subsystem. Requests to update established operational parameters for the electronic display and the thermal management subsystem are received at the control subsystem. The established operational parameters include operational parameters specific to sensor readings. The control subsystem determines which of the requests would provide a largest change to the established operational parameters if implemented, and prioritize that, largest, one of the requests for execution.

Abstract: Display assemblies with divided interior space and related methods are disclosed. A common passageway for the gas fluidly connects passageways of a first and second electronic display subassembly. A barrier extends within, and partitions, the common passageway into a first portion and a second portion. A continuous airflow pathway for the gas includes the first and second portions of said common passageway and the passageways of the first and second electronic display subassemblies. The first and second portions being fluidly interconnected by the passageways of the first and second electronic display assemblies.

Abstract: A display system for a refrigerated display case includes a door assembly which permits access to a product storage compartment. The door assembly includes an electronic display layer positioned within an enclosure defined by a front cover layer, a rear cover layer, and a spacer extending about a perimeter of interior surfaces of the front and rear cover layers. The front cover layer permits viewing of images displayed at the electronic display layer through the front cover layer. Electronic equipment for operating the electronic display layer is located outside of the enclosure.
