    Abstract: A primary user equipment transmits an aggregated connection request message to a serving radio access network node requesting uplink connection information corresponding one or more user equipment of an aggregation group. The node determines and transmits to the primary user equipment uplink connection information for user equipment of the aggregation group to use in establishing a connection to the node. The primary user equipment transmits, individually, respective uplink connection information to the secondary user equipment devices. A primary user equipment may aggregate uplink traffic received from secondary user equipment along with multiple medium access control control elements into an aggregation payload message and transmit the aggregation payload message in a single transport block to the node.

    Abstract: An information feedback method, device and system are provided. The method includes: determining, by a first communication node, feedback information for indicating a status of communication links between the first communication node and a serving communication node, where the feedback information includes at least one of the following: failure information of a first type of transmission link, a request for training signal of transmission modes and/or a request for training signal of receiving modes, and indication information of M preferred transmission links, and the first type of transmission link and the M preferred transmission links include transmission links from the serving communication node to the first communication node, where M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1; and transmitting, by the first communication node, the feedback information to the serving communication node. The present disclosure solves the problem in the existing art of a low resource utilization rate because a receiving end and a transmitting end cannot learn a communication link failure in time, enables the receiving end and the transmitting end to learn a status of communication links between them in time, and effectively improves the resource utilization rate.

    Abstract: This application provides a radio resource control (RRC) message sending method and an apparatus. According to the method, a distributed unit (DU) determines not to start an RLC polling mechanism when sending an RRC message to a terminal device, so that when sending the RRC message to UE, the DU sets a polling bit in a header of an RLC PDU carrying the RRC message to be in an inactive state. Therefore, after receiving the RRC message, the terminal device does not feed back an RLC status report to the DU. Therefore, the terminal device does not need to initiate a random access procedure to obtain an uplink transmission resource for sending the RLC status report to the DU, thereby saving random access resources.

    Abstract: Techniques to configure a user equipment (UE) for radio link failure (RLF) handling during a multi-connectivity handover with a source base station (SBS) and a target base station (TBS) include encoding a measurement report for transmission to the SBS via a first communication link. The measurement report is triggered based on a measurement event configured by the SBS. RRC signaling is received from the SBS, the RRC signaling including a handover command in response to the measurement report. The handover command includes an indication for multi-connectivity support by the SBS and the TBS during the handover. A random access channel (RACH) procedure with the TBS is performed using a second communication link between the UE and the TBS. Radio link monitoring (RLM) on the first communication link and the second communication link is performed during the handover.
