Abstract:
A display device provides a user with tactile feedback using a tactile user interface. The display device includes a display unit, a tactile feedback unit, and a controller. The controller detects a first control input selecting a first object displayed on the display unit, detects a second control input controlling the first object that is consecutive to the first control input, controls the first object in response to the second control input, generates first tactile feedback according to properties of the first object in response to the second control input, detects a third control input controlling the first object that is consecutive to the second control input, the third control input being detected in a region of a second object displayed on the display unit, and maintains the first tactile feedback in response to the third control input while the first object is controlled by the third control input.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of providing a user interface (UI) on head mounted display and the head mounted display (HMD) thereof are discussed. The apparatus includes a sensor unit configured to detect whether an object exits in the proximity of the HMD and if the object is detected, sense a distance between the object and the HMD, and a processor configured to apply a physical User Interface (UI) mode if the detected object is within a predetermined distance from the HMD. The physical UI mode provides a display for a virtual object. The processor is configured to adjust a display distance of the virtual object, when the virtual object is a 3-dimensional (3D) object and the 3D object includes a touch recognition surface, in order for the touch recognition surface to coincide with a surface of the object, and display the virtual object based on the adjusted display distance.
Abstract:
A device, method and timeline user interface for controlling home devices are provided. The method for controlling home devices includes displaying a virtual track on a display unit of a control device, displaying an indicator indicating operation information of a home device connected to the control device through the network along the virtual track, moving the indicator along the virtual track based on a user input; and controlling an operation time of the home device based on the location of the indicator along the virtual track.
Abstract:
A display device and a method for controlling the same are disclosed. The method includes providing a first tactile feedback to a first area of a display unit, the first tactile feedback corresponding to texture information of the first area, detecting one or more touch inputs applied to the first area, accumulating attribute information of the touch inputs applied to the first area and storing the accumulated attribute information, updating the texture information of the first area according to the accumulated attribute information, and providing a second tactile feedback corresponding to the updated texture information of the first area.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a display device and a method for controlling the same. Herein, the method for controlling the display device includes the steps of displaying a first object and a second object, wherein the first object is displayed so that at least a portion can overlay a first region of the second object, determining a first pressure condition being required for controlling the first object within the first region of the second object, detecting a first touch input touching a region in which the first object is displayed, detecting a second touch input controlling the first object, controlling the first object corresponding to the second touch input, when a pressure level of the first touch input satisfies the first pressure condition, and allowing the second touch input to bypass the first object, when the pressure level does not satisfy the first pressure condition.
Abstract:
A digital device including a display unit; a sensor unit; a display unit; a wireless communication unit to be paired with an external device; and a controller configured to receive a message, transmit information of the received message to the external device paired with the digital device, and display detailed information of the received message in response to detection of a predetermined motion using the sensor unit within a predetermined period of time while the digital device is paired with the external device.
Abstract:
The present specification relates to a wearable device and a method of controlling therefor. According to one embodiment, a method of controlling a wearable device includes the steps of detecting a real object and displaying a first virtual object based on the detected real object when the real object is detected, and detecting the real object and a first interaction and displaying a second virtual object when the real object and the first interaction are detected, wherein the second virtual object is displayed based on the second virtual object information transmitted by the external device.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle, which senses a speed of the vehicle using a speed sensor unit and also senses a vehicle-to-vehicle distance between the vehicle and a first vehicle immediately ahead of the vehicle using a distance sensor unit and then determines a state of the vehicle based on the speed of the vehicle and the vehicle-to-vehicle distance. In this case, when the vehicle is in a first state, the vehicle displays a first image captured by a first camera unit on a first display unit. In addition, when the vehicle is in a second state, the vehicle displays a second image captured by a second camera unit on the first display unit. Here, the second camera unit is a camera unit stalled in a second vehicle, and the second vehicle being any one of one or more vehicles ahead of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A portable device including a display unit, a control button and a controller. The display unit displays an execution screen of an application of the portable device. The control button receives a control input including at least one of a fingerprint input corresponding to a security authentication for the application and a push input corresponding to a cancel function. The controller displays a security authentication screen of the application, for which the fingerprint input is needed, receives a first control input including a first fingerprint input and a first push input when the security authentication screen of the application is displayed, and recognizes the first fingerprint input of the first control input by activating a fingerprint recognition function when the first fingerprint input is detected for more than a first threshold time and the first push input of the first control input is not detected.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a control method of a vehicle, including displaying a first image sequence including plural images captured by a first camera unit and a first control interface on a first display unit, and displaying a second image sequence including plural images captured by a second camera unit and a second control interface on a second display unit. Here, the first display unit and the second display unit may be located in directions facing each other, and arrangement of control objects included in the first control interface and arrangement of control objects included in the second control interface may be differently set.
