Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and a device for obtaining a secondary timing advance. The method includes: after a secondary cell activation command is received or after a secondary cell is activated, if a secondary time alignment timer TAT of the secondary cell does not run, initiating, by a terminal, a random access procedure; and obtaining, by the terminal, the secondary TA according to a TA received in the random access procedure. With the method and the device for obtaining a timing advance according to embodiments of the present invention, a terminal initiates a random access procedure to obtain a secondary timing advance after the terminal receives a secondary cell activation command sent by a base station or after a secondary cell is activated, thereby saving signaling overhead and system resources.

The present invention discloses a channel selection method and device and relates to the communications field, so as to resolve a problem of applying an unlicensed spectrum to a wireless cellular network. The channel selection device is configured to acquire a candidate unlicensed channel, determine an available unlicensed channel from the candidate unlicensed channel, where the available unlicensed channel is an unlicensed channel that is not interfered or on which a strength of an interference signal is less than an interference detection threshold, and acquire a first operation channel from the available unlicensed channel, where the first operation channel is a channel on which the channel selection device performs communication with user equipment in a wireless cellular network mode.

The present invention provides a group managing method and a PUSH Server. The method comprises: allocating a first group identifier to a group in an Application Server (AS); acquiring, according to a first identifier of a user joining the group, parameter information of the user, wherein the parameter information of the user comprises a second identifier of the user, location information of a user equipment (UE) corresponding to the user, and an identifier indicating whether the user enables reception of PUSH notification; establishing a group-based transmission bearer with a core network node; and generating group context corresponding to the first group identifier, wherein the group context comprises parameter information of the user in the group and information of the transmission bearer. Therefore, the group management efficiency is improved.

Embodiments provide a data transmission method, a device, and a system. The method includes: acquiring, by user equipment, a first preamble corresponding to a cell set of a primary timing advance group of a first base station and a second preamble corresponding to a cell set of a secondary timing advance group of a second base station; sending the first preamble to the first base station, to initiate random access to the first base station according to the first preamble; and sending the second preamble to the second base station, to initiate random access to the second base station according to the second preamble.

The present invention provides a random access method, a user equipment and a network equipment. The method comprising: acquiring a random access group scheduling identity, wherein the random access group scheduling identity is shared by user equipments belonging to a first group; receiving control signaling scrambled by the random access group scheduling identity on a PDCCH, and decoding the control signaling according to the random access group scheduling identity; receiving a data packet on a PDSCH according to the decoded control signaling, wherein the data packet comprises indication information used for instructing at least one UE belonging to the first group to perform a random access; and determining that the random access is needed to be performed according to the indication information, and performing the random access. The embodiments of the present invention may save PDCCH resource.

The present invention provides a method for processing a heartbeat message, a method for acquiring a heartbeat period, and an access network device. The method for processing a heartbeat message includes: acquiring, by a terminal, heartbeat control information (101); and sending, by the terminal, a heartbeat message according to the heartbeat control information (102). Embodiments of the present invention can reduce the signaling processing burden on a network side device and reduce the power consumption of a terminal, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the communication service of the terminal.

A method, device and system are used for transmitting a Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS). The method includes sending, by a first base station, a service identifier of a MBMS that needs to be received by a user equipment in a coverage area of the first base station to a gateway. The first base station receives a data packet of the MBMS and a synchronization control packet on a first multicast channel which are sent by the gateway. The first multicast channel is a multicast channel where the MBMS is located.

A communication method, a communications apparatus, and a device are described. The communication operation carried out by a terminal includes receiving BWP indication information sent by a network device. The BWP indication information instructs the terminal to activate a BWP and/or deactivate a BWP. The communication operation further includes sending BWP feedback information to the base station. The BWP feedback information indicates that the terminal successfully received the BWP indication information. In this way, in the event of a data transmission failure because the UE cannot receive or cannot correctly parse the BWP indication information, the UE and the base station communicating by using different BWPs can be avoided, thereby improving communication quality.

This application provides a random access method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: determining at least one random access preamble from at least one 2-step random access preamble, or determining one type of random access preamble from at least one 2-step random access preamble and at least one 4-step random access preamble, and performing random access by using the determined random access preamble. According to the application, the terminal device can determine a type of random access to be performed, thereby reducing an access latency.
