摘要: Provided are a golf ball and a resin composition for a cover or topcoat thereof which can suppress the yellowing of the golf ball caused by ultraviolet rays even if a naturally derived substance is used as an ultraviolet absorber, and they are environmentally and human friendly. A resin composition for a cover or topcoat of a golf ball of the present invention contains: a resin for a cover or topcoat; and a plant-derived extract which absorbs ultraviolet rays. The resin composition has a color difference ΔE of 10.0 or less in a Lab color system between before and after a color tone change test, the color tone change test being carried out by irradiating a film formed from the resin composition with a xenon lamp. In the golf ball of the present invention, the cover or the topcoat is formed by using the resin composition.

摘要: Coating compositions having a polymeric binder and a stabilizer composition including at least one of a UV absorber, a hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), or an inorganic UV blocker are provided herein, wherein said coating compositions are more resistant to discoloration when exposed to UV-C (190-280 nm) light compared to the coating compositions in the absence of the stabilizer composition. Thus, a method of stabilizing a coating composition against the deleterious effects of UV-C (190-280 nm) light includes adding to the coating composition an effective amount of such a stabilizer composition, wherein the coating composition is made more resistant to discoloration when exposed to UV-C (190-280 nm) light compared to the coating composition in the absence of the stabilizer composition. Coated articles can be made from the coating composition, and methods of making stabilized coating films include adding the stabilizer composition to the coating composition.

摘要: A fire protection composition contains a binder on the basis of an alkoxysilane-functionalized polymer and a liquid carbon supplier. The fire protection composition allows application in a simple and rapid manner of coatings having the layer thickness required for the particular fire resistance time, the layer thickness being reduced to a minimum while achieving a good fireproofing effect. The fire-protection composition is formulated as a multi-component system. The fire-protection composition is particularly suitable for fire protection, especially as a coating of construction elements such as steel carriers.

摘要: An object is to suppress a variation in amount of a sealant that is applied on an object to be sealed. There is provided a sealant discharge nozzle configured such that a sealant from a cartridge is discharged from a discharge hole of the sealant discharge nozzle. The sealant discharge nozzle has a leading end portion comprising a pair of side wall portions; and a connecting wall portion configured to connect the pair of side wall portions with each other and provided in cooperation with the pair of side wall portions to form a first recess that is open on one side in a first direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the sealant discharge nozzle, and on a leading end side. The discharge hole has an opening formed on a first recess side of the connecting wall portion.
