Abstract:
A handheld telescopic ironing device for pressing clothing, fabric and the like comprising two handles joined at the distal end with a pivotal hinge, each handle comprised of an elongated hollow outer handle housing and at least one elongated hollow inner handle housing concentrically aligned and telescopically mounted within outer handle housing with a locking means to hold the with inner handle housing and outer handle housing at extended or contracted lengths. Attached to the two handles are heads each having a pressing surface mounted on a hollow head housing so that the two pressing surfaces oppose each other. The telescopic ironing device is further comprised of at least one heating element disposed within one or more of internal cavities of the head housing and has an optional steam feature.
Abstract:

A soleplate, of which ironing flat is formed on the bottom, is fixed on the lower side of shell. A steam chamber for forming steam, which is positioned above soleplate, has a water inlet and steam nozzles in the ironing flat. A heater is provided on the soleplate. Water tank, which is fixed in the shell, has a water intake and water outlet, and the water outlet connects to water inlet of steam chamber by a pipe. A water pump is fixed in pipeline of pipe. A motor for driving water pump is fixed in the shell.
Abstract:
An electric iron includes a soleplate and at least one heating element. The heating element includes multi-layer conductive coating of nano-thickness disposed on the soleplate. The heating element further includes electrodes disposed on the multi-layer conductive coating. The multi-layer conductive coating has a structure and composition which stabilize performance of the heating element at high temperatures. The soleplate can be made of ceramic glass. The electric iron can perform heating and ironing functions using alternating current electrical power, direct current electrical power, solar energy power, or one or more batteries.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses as a steam that includes an iron casing, a first steam outlet, a second steam outlet, a heating member installing a water input portion and a steam output portion disposed at the iron casing, and a switch valve connected to the steam output portion and the first and second steam outlets. The switch valve having a switching routine for a first switch position and a second switch position is used for determining whether the steam heated by the steam output portion is outputted from the first steam outlet or the second steam outlet. The steam iron can provide both board-type and standing-type designs of steam irons and improve the value of the steam iron significantly.
Abstract:
Pressing iron composed of a soleplate fixed to a heating body, wherein the soleplate has a pattern of at least 200 steam outlet holes each having a passage cross section smaller than 4 mm2, with spacings of less than 10 mm between hole centers, and wherein the pattern of steam outlet holes is interrupted by an imperforate band having a width greater than 10 mm, which band extends over the pattern.
Abstract:
A new steam iron with a steam chamber connected with the labyrinths and the steam outlet vents of the soleplate through a small connection duct or a small hole, in such a way as to keep high pressure inside the steam generation chamber. The iron is provided with a steam spray positioned at the front and directed towards its point.
Abstract:
An iron comprises a heating element (97) and heating-control means (96) for the heating element. It has a humidity detector (60) which measures the degree of humidity of the fabric and which influences the electric power dissipated in the heating element. In order to measure the degree of humidity a circuit (99) measures the resistivity of the fabric between two contact electrodes (62a, 62b) and subsequently averages the electric signal resulting from the movement of the iron on the fabric. A circuit (89) may be added which measures the rhythm of the variations of said electric signal and which thus detects whether the iron is in use or not in use.
Abstract:
A combined set of household electrical appliances and a handgrip therefor, includes a handgrip element removably coupleable with the bodies of electrical household appliances. The handgrip element has a coupling element removably coupleable with a corresponding coupling seat defined by the electric household appliances. The handgrip element is provided with a connecting cable for connection to the mains connected to electric contacts provided at the coupling element and adapted to be arranged in electric conduction connection to coupling electric contacts provided in the cited coupling seat.
Abstract:
A steam pressing iron has flush ports in the rear of the soleplate. A pair of arms mounted on a pin at the center of the heel plate of the iron carries plugs to close the ports. A single operator button moves the arms to swing the plugs into or out of the ports.
Abstract:
A light weight portable hand manipulatable pressing/steaming device having a reservoir formed therein to be at least partially filled with an electrolytic solution. The steaming device includes a steam generator, passageway means leading from said generator for receiving steam therefrom and conducting it to an exit thereof, and a sole plate having an opening therein in communication with the exit of the passageway means so that steam created in the generator will issue through the sole plate. The generator includes a pair of electrodes shaped and positioned within the reservoir and at least partially submerged within the electrolytic solution to support a flow of current between the electrodes when said device is operated in either the vertical or the horizontal position. Each of the electrodes includes a first and second portion, wherein each portion of each electrode has a substantially flat surface which is so positioned within the reservoir that as the level of the solution recedes below the flat surfaces, a meniscus is formed between the solution and the flat surface of the first portions if the device is being operated in the horizontal position and with the flat surface of the second portions if the device is being operated in the vertical position. The device has an opening in a top wall thereof and a cap detachably engaged therewith for sealing the opening. The cap has a depression formed therein for measuring the quantity of salt to be added to water when forming the electrolytic solution. A baffle is positioned within the device adjacent the opening for preventing the electrolytic solution from accidentally draining out of the opening when the device is being operated in either of the vertical and horizontal positions.
