摘要: A fuel injector which may be employed in injecting fuel into an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector includes an injector body and a head body formed to be separate from the injector body. The head body has installed therein a fuel pressure sensor working to measure the pressure of fuel in the fuel injector and is joined detachably to the injector body. The fuel injector alternatively includes an injector body and a fuel pressure-sensing unit equipped with a fuel pressure sensor. The fuel pressure-sensing unit is installed detachably on the injector body. This structure provides enhanced productivity of the fuel injector and facilitate the ease of replacement of the fuel pressure sensor.

摘要: A dispenser for dispensing metered dosages of a substance from a container includes a dispenser housing having a top, a bottom, and a wall defining an elongated cavity open at the top and extending along a longitudinal axis. An indicating device includes a face member defining a viewing window. The face member is snap-fitted to the dispenser housing wall. The indicating device further includes an indicator member having a surface visible through the viewing window. The surface includes dosage indicia. The indicator member is rotatable about an axis substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. An indicator actuator has at least a portion disposed in the cavity. The actuator is adapted to be moved by an actuation of the container, with the actuator adapted to rotate the indicator member upon a predetermined number of actuations of the container.

摘要: An improved measuring cup is disclosed with volumetric indicia disposed on the inside of the cup that are viewable from above the cup, while the cup is disposed on a horizontal countertop or work surface. The horizontally upward facing volume indicia eliminate the need to raise the measuring cup to eye level to check the amount of material that has been added to the cup or the need to stoop down and view a side of the cup while the cup is disposed on a horizontal countertop or work surface. An improved handle is also disclosed which makes the cup more stable and less prone to being tipped over and spilled during use on a horizontal work surface.

摘要: The present invention relates to a level sensing spray applicator. In one embodiment, the spray applicator includes a gun that receives a liquid and a supply vessel coupled to the gun. The vessel includes a level sensor responsive to the volume retained by the supply vessel. In another aspect, a level-sensing supply vessel includes a level sensor responsive to a volume of liquid retained by the supply vessel, the sensor including a sensor element to detect the volume by sensing a resistance property of the liquid. In still a further aspect, a method of sensing a level of a liquid retained within a storage vessel includes sensing a first liquid volume, removing a portion of the first volume to define a second volume, determining if the second volume is less than a minimum volume, and generating an alarm signal if the second volume is less than the minimum volume.

摘要: An aspect of the present invention includes an apparatus for mixing and dispensing liquid fuel with another fluid, including a container having a base, a plurality of side walls, a cover portion, and an opening formed in the cover portion for receiving and dispensing liquids. At least one of the sidewalls has a translucency allowing a liquid level to be determined. First and second handles aid in the control of dispensing of liquids from the container. A plurality of fill lines are formed at predetermined locations on or near the sidewall(s) having a translucency to compare the liquid level to the fill lines. The fill lines are incrementally spaced such that the volume associated with the lowermost fill line is substantially equal to the volume associated with to any of the other fill lines spaced above the lowermost fill line minus the volume associated fill lines positioned therebelow.
