    摘要： Casting apparatus for the production of directionally solidified castings comprises first, second and third chambers and valves between the first and second and second and third chambers. The first chamber holds a charge melting and pouring arrangement. The second comprises a casting chamber and the third is a withdrawal chamber so that the casting may be withdrawn in a controlled fashion from the second chamber to produce the required directional solidification.

    摘要： This device permits the low-pressure chill-casting of parts such as engine pistons in mold cavities formed in pairs of half-dies, said mold cavities being aligned and formed in a fixed half-die receiving the duct supplying the molten metal thereto and in the movable half-die adapted to move by translation away from said fixed half-die by means of retractable members of the type comprising movable core elements, the automatic control units associated with said half-dies being adapted to assemble and disassemble said core elements through a sequence of mechanical movements produced by an actuator, automatic means being associated with the device for ejecting and discharging the castings.

    摘要： A machine for chill casting under hydrostatic pressure which includes a holding furnace mounted on a supporting frame including a crucible having a pouring opening in the bottom wall and a stopper mounted for movement between opening and closing positions with respect to said opening, a casting mold formed of at least two parts mounted on a rigid frame and a mold-pouring device in which the latter is formed of female and male injection nozzles one of which is mounted on the pouring jet and the other of which is fixed to the pouring hole of the furnace crucible with means for displacement of the mold to engage the male and female nozzle members.
