    摘要: An apparatus for facilitating the rapid mounting of fence boards to fence posts includes a rail having a tongue projecting perpendicularly from one end thereof; and a board support assembly slidably disposed on the rail, the board support assembly including a carriage slidably mounted on the rail, a carriage lock for selectively fixing the carriage at a desired location along the rail, and a hook depending from the carriage below the tongue for temporarily supporting one end of a board to be mounted to a post. The subject apparatus may be hung from a first fence board by the tongue and then used to support an end of a second fence board within the cradle a desired distance below, and in substantially coplanar alignment with, the first board for mounting to a post.

    摘要: A brake-shoe tool is for use with a brake-shoe lining. The brake-shoe tool includes an elongated rigid linear shaft assembly and a plurality of rigid flat plate members each rotatably mounted to the elongated rigid linear shaft assembly. Each of the rigid flat plate members includes a flat planar surface in rotating contact arrangement with a neighboring instance of the flat planar surface. A free end extends from the flat planar surface. The free end presents an elongated edge having a unique length. The elongated edge is configured to be positioned adjacent to a thickness of the brake-shoe lining in such a way that each instance of the elongated edge is positionable to and visually comparable against the thickness of the brake-shoe lining.

    摘要: The invention is a contour standard, which consists of a body having a rotationally symmetrical calibration region. The rotationally symmetrical calibration region encompasses a plurality of non-cylindrical axial sections, which can be concave, convex, by forming a predefined angle as radial projection or as radial depression. The calibration region has at least one measuring section, which runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the body and which provides for axial calibration variables, as well as radial calibration variables. These calibration variables are compared with the sensed values to the calibration of a measuring instrument and the measuring instrument is adjusted based on the basis of the determined deviation. Due to the rotationally symmetrical calibration region, the contour standard is suitable both for the calibration of touch contour measuring instruments and also for the calibration of contour measuring instruments, which measure optically.

    摘要: A testing finger (1) comprises a finger-shaped rod (2). A sharp end (3) of the finger-shaped rod (2) is connected with a testing part used for measuring a distance. The testing part is a group of testing heads, and the length of each testing head corresponds to minimum safe distances at different voltage levels in intrusion protection. The testing part is connected with the sharp end (3) of the finger-shaped rod (2) in a detachable insertion manner. The testing finger (1) can accurately determine whether the distance between a live part or a live lead which is not insulated in an electrical device and a protective part is greater than or equal to a minimum safety distance, thereby solving the problem in the prior art that the distance between the sharp end (3) of the finger-shaped rod (2) and the live part or the live lead cannot be accurately measured by a clamp in a situation of limited space.

    摘要: Devices and methods to facilitate proper installation of a power takeoff on a transmission are disclosed. Embodiments include gauges and methods that enable users to properly select the thickness of the gasket between the power takeoff and the transmission housing to minimize gear backlash and gear interference while installing a power takeoff on a transmission. In one embodiment, the gauge is of unitary construction with at least one surface adapted to contact the transmission housing and another surface adapted to avoid contact with the transmission gear by at least 2/1000 inches and at most 3/100 inches when the gasket thickness is proper for minimizing gear backlash and interference. Alternate embodiments include cutouts that aid in aligning the gauge within the transmission housing and can assist in determining the appropriate gasket thickness.
