摘要: A method includes disposing a first shaft and a second shaft in an end to end arrangement, positioning a sleeve over the end to end arrangement, coupling the sleeve to the first shaft via a first set of fasteners extending through a first set of radial holes in the sleeve and into the first shaft, coupling the sleeve to the second shaft via a second set of fasteners extending through a second set of radial holes in the sleeve and into the second shaft, and allowing the sleeve to self adjust the alignment between the first shaft and the second shaft while transmitting torsional, translational, or torsional and translational loading through the first set of fasteners and the second set of fasteners.

摘要: A connecting device for a chainring of a bicycle is disclosed, including a connecting disc, a shaft, and a crank. The connecting disc is adapted to be engaged with a chainring, and has an axial bore, a bulging portion bulging from a central portion of the connecting disc, and a surrounding portion, which is flat, and surrounds an outer periphery of the bulging portion. The shaft passes through the axial bore to be fixedly engaged with the connecting disc. The shaft has a connecting end. The crank has a connecting end engaged with the connecting end of the shaft, and a bearing end adapted to bear an external force to make the crank rotate around the shaft. Whereby, the amount of materials used to make the connecting device is decreased. At the same time, the manufacturing cost, the size, and the weight of the connecting device are all reduced.

摘要: In a steering system, a first universal joint includes a first yoke coupled to an intermediate shaft. A second universal joint includes a fourth yoke paired with a third yoke coupled to the intermediate shaf and a shaft attachment portion joined to the fourth yoke and in which a bolt insertion hole allowing a pinion shaft to be clamped is formed. When an angle between the intermediate shaf and a steering shaft is set to θ1, an around-axis angle of the first yoke in a rotating direction is set to ω1, and an angle between the intermediate shaft and the pinion shaft is set to θ2, a junction angle between the fourth yoke and the shaft attachment portion in the rotating direction is adjusted to set an around-axis angle of the bolt insertion hole in the rotating direction to a preset angle ω2.

摘要: An input shaft for the torque-transmitting connection of motor and propeller of a ship drive has input-side and output-side interfaces and a composite hollow shaft made of fiber composite material arranged therebetween. The input shaft has a section which is arranged between the input-side and output-side interfaces, is connected to the composite hollow shaft, and is made of non-flammable material. A ship includes a hull, a bulkhead running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the hull, a motor, a propeller and an input shaft described above. The input shaft of the ship is fed through the bulkhead and has the non-flammable section arranged in the region of the feedthrough through the bulkhead.
