    摘要: The present invention provides a method and system for electrolyzer diagnosis based on curve fitting analysis and efficiency optimization. The present invention relates to monitoring the electrochemical cell components by using curve fitting and estimating the overall electrolyzer performance by using predictive models. The system according to the present invention comprises an extraction unit for selecting suitable operation zones, a filtering unit, a curve fitting unit performing linear or non-linear regression by using user-defined equations applied to current-voltage data points and a curve fitting goodness analysis unit. The zones are defined as start-up zones, shutdown zones and load change zones. The system further comprises a curve fitting parameters characterization unit for classifying curve fitting parameters by respect to the electrolyzer cells components technology and reference values, and a characterization database for storing fitting coefficients and their characterization.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for producing a metal by a direct oxide reduction process with Ca. A CaCl2-based molten salt containing Ca is held in a reduction chamber 1, a metal oxide is introduced into the molten salt in the reduction chamber 1, and the metal oxide is reduced with the Ca in the molten salt to form said metal. The metal formed in the molten salt is separated from the molten salt in a separation means 2, and the molten salt deprived of the metal is introduced into a chlorination chamber 7 and subjected to chlorination treatment with chlorine gas to eliminate the byproduct CaO in the molten salt. The molten salt after chlorination treatment is introduced into an electrolysis chamber 8 and electrolyzed for the formation of Ca and chlorine from CaCl2, and the thus-formed Ca or Ca-containing molten salt is transferred from the electrolysis chamber 8 to the reduction chamber 1. The chlorine obtained in the electrolysis chamber 8 is used in the chlorination chamber 7. Thus, the present invention provides a metal production method and an apparatus wherein high levels of productivity are obtained and the product metal can be inhibited from carbon contamination due to CaO, without any generation of CO2 from the production process, while their being based on the direct oxide reduction process comprising the step of reducing a metal oxide with Ca.

The cell includes at least of an anode half-element and an anode, a cathode half-element and a gas diffusion electrode as the cathode, and a cation exchange membrane for separating the anode half-element and the cathode half-element. A gas containing oxygen is supplied to the cathode half-element and excess gas containing oxygen is discharged from the cathode half-element. Excess gas containing oxygen discharged from the cathode half-element is subjected to catalytic oxidation of hydrogen.

    摘要: In a method for producing sodium hypochlorite, brine solution is piped from the brine tank to a first inlet in a first electrolyzer cell of an electrolyzer assembly while simultaneously piping chilled water from a chiller having a temperature range from about 10° C. to about 25° C. to the first inlet so that the brine solution combines with the chilled water. The chilled brine solution is electrolyzed in the first electrolyzer cell. The hypochlorite and brine solution resulting from electrolysis occurring in the first cell is piped to a second inlet in a second electrolyzer cell in the electrolyzer assembly while simultaneously piping chilled water from the chiller having a temperature range from about 10° C. to about 25° C. to the second inlet so that the chilled water combines with the hypochlorite and brine solution. Each cell can have more than one inlet, preferably up to 6 inlets. The chilled hypochlorite and brine solution are electrolyzed in the second cell. The process is repeated until the hypochlorite and brine solution passes through all cells of the electrolyzer assembly.
