Abstract: The present invention provides a composition and a method for efficiently delivering a nucleic acid agent to the central nervous system and/or the retina and bringing about antisense effects. Provided is a composition for reducing the expression level of a target transcription product in the central nervous system and/or retina of a subject, the composition including a nucleic acid complex that includes a first nucleic acid strand and a second nucleic acid strand, wherein: the first nucleic acid strand comprises a base sequence capable of hybridizing with at least part of the target transcription product and has an antisense effect on the target transcription product; the second nucleic acid strand comprises a base sequence complementary to the first nucleic acid strand and is conjugated to tocopherol, cholesterol, or an analog thereof; and the first nucleic acid strand is annealed to the second nucleic acid strand.

Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a muscle activity measurement device and a muscle activity measurement method which make it possible to measure the muscle activity of an object to be sensed with increased accuracy. The muscle activity measurement device 1 according to the present invention is provided with a magnetic sensor unit 11 which senses a magnetic field generated from a living body, and an identification means which identifies an installed direction of the muscle activity measurement device 1. The identification means includes an indication 24, on a surface of a container 20, which comprises identification information for installing the muscle activity measurement device 1 in such a way that a magnetism sensing direction X of the magnetic sensor unit 11 and the direction in which the muscle fibers of the living body as the object to be sensed extend are substantially orthogonal to each other.

Abstract: A forceps system includes a forceps manipulator and a control unit.
