Abstract:
The invention relates to an oxygen scavenger/indicator which contains at least one substance with combined scavenger and indicator function for oxygen, which can absorb oxygen under the effect of moisture in basic conditions, and also to at least one basically reacting compound. The indicator effect is effected by a change in at least one physical property of the substance with combined scavenger and indicator function for oxygen, the change being triggered by the effect of moisture.
Abstract:
A laser scanner is provided with a transmission optic (20) whose laser pencil beam (18) is oriented coaxially with the axis of rotation (28) of a deflecting mirror (22, 24) and coaxially with the optical axis of the associated detector optic (58). The arrangement is such that light reflected by a distant measuring point (44) can be deflected by the deflecting mirror (22, 24) through the detector optic (58) to a signal detector. The output signal (70) of the signal detector can be evaluated to acquire data, particularly spatial coordinates. The transmission optic (20) is disposed in a shading cylinder (22) that is open to the deflecting mirror (24) and extends from the detector optic (58) coaxially with the axis of rotation (28) of the deflecting mirror (22, 24) into the vicinity of the deflecting mirror (22, 24), in order thereby to shade the detector object particularly against stray light that occurs when the laser pencil beam (18) impinges on the deflecting mirror (22, 24, 26).
Abstract:
A device for concealing an error in an erroneous or potentially erroneous information unit generates output values of a forward decoder and a backward decoder which differ and thus indicate an error-concealment area. The different values for one and the same information unit are examined with regard to a predetermined criterion so as to select that value which meets the predetermined criterion, i.e. which is plausible. Thus, an elimination or reduction of the continuation errors introduced in the decoding of blocks of reversible code words of variable lengths is achieved without impacting the compression rate.
Abstract:
The invention is a method for producing a tool which can be used to create optically active surface structures in the sub-μm range, having a support surface onto which relief surface structures are applied over the support surface by means of material deposition. The invention is distinguished by the support surface being directly contacted with a mask in which openings with diameters in the sub-μm range are provided or can be provided, by the support surface including the mask being subjected to a coating process in which the coating material deposits through the openings of the mask onto the support surface, and the mask is removed from the support surface when a partial amount of an average end structure height of the surface structures is reached and the coating procedure is then continued without the mask using the same coating material or different coating materials.
Abstract:
The present invention is based on the finding that a capacitance can be measured precisely and efficiently when, in a delta-sigma modulator having an operational amplifier, a first capacitor connectable to an input of the operational amplifier, and a second capacitor in a feedback branch of the operational amplifier, a reference signal source is connectable to the first capacitor, wherein the first or second capacitor may represent a capacitance to be measured. Due to the fact that, in contrast to what is conventional, no input quantity is measured and digitalized at the input of the delta-sigma modulator, but instead a defined reference signal source is coupled at the input and a device of the delta-sigma modulator itself represents the measuring quantity, an extremely compact circuit is provided allowing capacitances to be measured quickly and reliably, the measuring result being additionally made available in a digital form.
Abstract:
A micromechanical device described has an oscillation system with an oscillation body and an elastic suspension, by which the oscillation body is oscillatorily suspended. The elastic suspension has at least two spring beams. An adjuster for adjusting a resonant frequency of the oscillation system by changing the position of the at least two spring beams of the elastic suspension towards each other is provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a piezoelectric sensor which comprises a piezoelectric measuring transducer, an amplifier circuit and also at least one connection for external current or signal lines, these elements being integrated on or in a carrier structure. The sensor thereby enables measurement under different temperature conditions. The piezoelectric sensor according to the invention is used for oscillation, acceleration or deflection measurement, in particular in mechanical engineering, in air and space travel or in the automobile industry.
Abstract:
An apparatus for controlling a wave field synthesis renderer with audio objects includes a provider for providing a scene description, wherein the scene description defines a temporal sequence of audio objects in an audio scene and further includes information on the source position of a virtual source as well as on a start or an end of the virtual source. Furthermore, the audio object includes at least a reference to an audio file associated with the virtual source. The audio objects are processed by a processor, in order to generate a single output data stream for each renderer module, wherein both information on the position of the virtual source and the audio file itself are included in mutual association in this output data stream. With this, high portability on the one hand and high quality due to secure data consistency on the other hand are achieved.
Abstract:
In a multilayer mirror (1) for the reflection of EUV radiation containing a large number of alternating molybdenum layers (4) and silicon layers (3), a barrier layer (5) containing a silicon nitride or a silicon boride is included at a number of interfaces between the molybdenum layers (4) and the silicon layers (3). As a result of the barrier layers (5) of a silicon nitride or of a silicon boride, high thermal stability is achieved, in particular high long-term stability at temperatures of more than 300° C., whilst at the same time achieving high reflectivity in the multilayer mirror. A multilayer mirror (1) of this type can, in particular, be used as a heatable collector mirror for an EUV radiation source.
Abstract:
Audio files for an audio piece are stored in cross-scene optimized manner, so that when reading out audio files for a scene entailing high utilization of a wave field synthesis system, very short memory access times are achieved, whereas for scenes not entailing such a high utilization of the wave field synthesis system, longer memory access times in turn are accepted.
