    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a peripheral area disposed outside of the display area. The display area includes a plurality of pixels. The display device further includes an inorganic insulating layer disposed in the display area. The inorganic insulating layer includes a groove disposed in a region between the plurality of pixels. The display device further includes an organic material layer filling the groove, a first connection wiring, and a second connection wiring. The first connection wiring is disposed on the organic material layer, overlaps the plurality of pixels, and extends in a second direction. The second connection wiring is insulated from the first connection wiring, and extends in a first direction that crosses the second direction.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a display panel including a first surface portion, a second surface portion, and a third surface portion which is disposed between the first surface portion and the second surface portion. The electronic apparatus operates in one of a first mode and a second mode. When the electronic apparatus operates in the first mode, the third surface portion is bent from the first surface portion, and the second surface portion is bent from the third surface portion. When the electronic apparatus operates in the second mode, the first surface portion, the second surface portion, and the third surface portion are substantially parallel to each other.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a display apparatus includes providing a substrate, forming a display unit defining an opening portion in a display region over the substrate, forming a thin film encapsulation layer to seal the display unit, forming a touch electrode over the thin film encapsulation layer, forming a touch insulating film covering the touch electrode such that the thin film encapsulation layer and the touch insulating film are sequentially stacked and formed over the substrate in the opening portion, forming a touch contact hole by removing a portion of the touch insulating film to expose a portion of the touch electrode, and removing a portion of the touch insulating film and a portion of the thin film encapsulation layer formed in the opening portion to expose a portion of the substrate during the forming of the touch contact hole.

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a substrate having a first region and a second region surrounding the first region. An insulating part is disposed above the substrate, covering the first region and the second region, and comprising a first opening portion in the second region. A dam part is disposed above the insulating part in the second region and surrounds a periphery of the first opening portion. A first organic insulating layer is disposed above the insulating part and covers an inner surface of the first opening portion. An organic light-emitting device is disposed above the insulating part in the first region and comprises a pixel electrode. An encapsulation layer is disposed above the insulating part in both the first region and the second region. The encapsulation layer covers the organic light-emitting device.
