Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a first UE may receive an indication of first resources from a second UE. In some examples, the second UE may be a UE configured to receive a transmission from a third UE over the first resources. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to a fourth UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources. Additionally, or alternatively, the second UE may be a UE that received sidelink control information from the third UE indicating the resources for transmission by the third UE to a fourth UE. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to the second UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources.

Abstract: Some aspects provide an apparatus for wireless communication, in accordance with some aspects of the present disclosure. Abstract: User equipment associated with a legacy network may utilize a bottom-to-top search technique to identify relevant control channel samples. Generating a control channel that is configured for the bottom-to-top search technique may lead to poor performance in a single-carrier waveform, which may be disadvantageous as networks move toward New Radio. In some aspects, described herein, a base station generates a control channel that is configured to minimize gaps in the control channel, and a user equipment performs a top-to-bottom search technique to identify relevant control channel samples. By using the top-to-bottom search technique, degradation of single-carrier waveforms is reduced and efficiency is improved.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for receiving reference radio frequency (RF) signals for positioning estimation. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network node, multiple resource sets for tracking (TRSs). Each TRS comprises a plurality of reference signal resources. The multiple TRSs are signals from a same antenna port or are quasi-co-located signals. The UE processes the multiple TRSs to determine positioning-related quantity(ies). The UE can estimate its position based on the positioning-related quantity(ies) and/or send the positioning-related quantity(ies) to the network.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Sidelink UEs may be configured with a synchronization reference signal that may be used by the UEs to synchronize time and frequency resources. A first and second UE may perform a beam sweeping procedure to identify transmit and receive beams to use for communications between the UEs. A synchronization reference signal procedure may be initiated and the first UE may receive a sidelink synchronization reference signal from the second UE using the established receive beam. The UEs may align time and frequency resources for communications between the UEs and the UEs may communicate via the sidelink channel based on the time synchronization, frequency synchronization, or both, determined using the sidelink synchronization signal. In some cases, a sidelink UE may receive multiple synchronization reference signals from multiple sidelink UEs simultaneously, where each synchronization reference signal may include a UE identifier.

A first relay user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive a first message including a cross-link interference (CLI) indication associated with CLI experienced by a first base station which is associated with signals transmitted by a second base station. The first relay UE may generate, in response to the first message, a second message including the CLI indication, and may transmitting the second message including the CLI indication. In some cases, the first relay UE may transmit the second message directly to the second base station. In additional or alternative cases, the first relay UE may transmit the second message to an additional relay UE for relay to the second base station.
