Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for triggering generation and transmission of a channel state information (CSI) report by the user equipment (UE) in response to issuance of at least one downlink grant by the base station. Additionally, in order to address unique challenges that may arise with respect to traffic collisions and desynchronizations based on downlink grant CSI report triggering (e.g., missing downlink control information (DCI)), aspects of the present disclosure may further implement restrictions for transmission of aperiodic CSI (A-CSI) by the UE on physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) triggered by downlink grant. Additionally, aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for utilizing a duplicate CSI trigger indication (e.g., indicator in downlink DCI) between multiple messages in order to signal to the UE that the transmission of A-CSI may be multiplexed or merged with another uplink message (e.g., acknowledgement).

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may identify a translational or rotational misalignment between a first antenna array of the first wireless device and a second antenna array of a second wireless device that is in line-of-sight (LoS) wireless communication with the first wireless device via a channel. The first wireless device may update a channel matrix for the channel based on the translational or rotational misalignment, where the first wireless device may update the channel matrix with one or more beam steering metrics of the first antenna array so as to improve a beam alignment between the first antenna array and the second antenna array. The first wireless device may communicate with the second wireless device in accordance with the updated channel matrix.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A configuration for a reference signal used to determine a non-linear behavior of transmission components at a transmitting device may be determined. The configuration for the reference signal may be determined based on signaling transmitted by the transmitting device, signaling transmitted by a device that receives the reference signal, or both. Additionally, or alternatively, the configuration for the reference signal may be determined based on a configuration of other signals transmitted by the transmitting device prior to or concurrently with the transmission of the reference signal. The determined configuration may be used to generate and transmit the reference signal or to determine a configuration of a received reference signal. In both cases, a non-linear response of transmission components at the transmitting device may be determined based on the reference signal.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a wireless device to use periodic reserved resources to serve aperiodic traffic over sidelink. In one aspect, a wireless device reserves a set of periodic resources for sidelink transmission, where the reserved set of periodic resources include reserved resources for SCI and reserved resources for data. The wireless device transmits SCI without a data transmission in a periodic resource for the period. In another aspect, a first wireless device receives a reservation from a second wireless device for a set of periodic resources for sidelink transmission. The first wireless device receives, from the second wireless device, SCI in a period of the periodic resources, the SCI including an indication that the SCI is not associated with a data transmission.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating sidelink resource pool activation and deactivation for sidelink communication are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a first sidelink device includes identifying a configuration of a bandwidth part (BWP) for sidelink communication. In some examples, the BWP may comprise at least a first resource pool including a first subset of frequency resources and a second resource pool including a second subset of frequency resources. The example method also includes receiving an activation indication activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool. Additionally, the example method includes activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool based on the activation indication.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for one or more first DL transmissions to a first group of a plurality of groups. The first group may include the first UE. The first Tx power may have a first power level different from a second power level of a second Tx power for one or more second DL transmissions to a second group of the plurality of groups. Then, the base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first DL transmission of the one or more first DL transmissions using the first Tx power. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to estimate interference for concurrent uplink and downlink communications based on an indication of one or more one or more characteristics of an interfering uplink signal communicated between a base station and a second user equipment (UE). The base station or the second UE may transmit, to a first UE, an indication of one or more characteristics of an uplink signal, such as a baseband of the uplink signal or one or more parameters of the uplink signal. The first UE may use the characteristic(s) of the uplink signal to estimate the baseband of the uplink signal and cancel interference associated with the uplink signal. For example, the first UE may use the baseband signal to estimate the interference and may subtract the estimated interference from a downlink signal received at the first UE.
