Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may update its channel state information (CSI) on a sidelink between a first user equipment (UE) and one or more second UEs aperiodically using control information to trigger the CSI reporting process. The aperiodic CSI process may include the base station transmitting a timing requirement and control information to a UE. The control information contains a CSI request may be received and decoded at the UE. According to the CSI request, the first UE may transmit a reference signal on the sidelink for the second UE(s) to measure. The UE(s) may generate and transmit a CSI report on the sidelink to first UE, and the first UE may aggregate the received CSI report(s) and transmit them to the base station within the time period specified by the timing requirement received in the control information.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for sidelink aided time difference of arrival (TDOA) based positioning methods. An example method of determining a time difference of arrival value includes receiving a first reference signal at a first time, wherein the first reference signal is transmitted from a first wireless node using a first radio access link, receiving a. second reference signal at a second time, wherein the second reference signal is transmitted from a second wireless node using a second radio access link, receiving assistance data including at least a transmit delay time value based, on a time the first reference signal is received by the second wireless node, and a time the second reference signal is transmitted by the second wireless node, and determining the time difference of arrival value based at least in part on the first time, the second time and the transmit delay time value.

Abstract: A network node of a first radio access technology (RAT) may configure, from a set of resources available for dynamic spectrum sharing between the first RAT and a second RAT, a first subset of resources on which to communicate with one of rate matching or spatial domain multiplexing associated with the second RAT. A UE may receive, from a network node associated with the first RAT, information indicating a first subset of resources from a set of resources available for dynamic spectrum sharing between the first RAT and a second RAT with one of rate matching or spatial domain multiplexing. The network node and the UE may communicate on the first subset of resources from the set of resources with the one of rate matching or spatial domain multiplexing.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from one of a programmable logic controller (PLC) or a network node, a configuration. The first UE may transmit, to one or more of a second UE, the PLC, or the network node, and based at least in part on the configuration, status information associated with the first UE, the status information being associated with an ability of the first UE to perform one or more of: data relaying for other UEs; a reading of radio frequency (RF) signals associated with reading or processing information from one or more zero power internet of things (ZP-IoT) devices and a relaying of information associated with the RF signal; or a transmission of wireless energy to one or more ZP-IoT devices. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: An anchor UE may move or have a low transmission power and impact the accuracy of positioning estimates of a target UE based on measurements of the PRSs associated with the anchor UE. One or more candidate anchor UEs may be selected or excluded from being used for positioning based on one or more of a measurement quality metric of a position measurement of a candidate anchor UE, a mobility status of the candidate anchor UE, or a GDOP associated with the candidate anchor UE. A mobility status of the candidate anchor UE may be derived from reported positions of the candidate anchor UE or obtained from the candidate anchor UE. A UE selected as an anchor UE is used for positioning of a target UE, and a UE downselected from being an anchor UE is excluded from use for positioning of the target UE.
