Abstract: In wireless communication systems using a subband full duplex carrier, a single slot may include one or more uplink (UL) portions and/or one or more downlink (DL) portions. In a case where a scheduler operating in a 3GPP New Radio (NR) network utilizes a Type 0 or Type 1 resource allocation, part of the DL allocation may fall within the UL portion of the carrier designated by the slot format, or vice versa. User equipment (a UE) may perform a logical operation that identifies, as a usable downlink resource allocation, a set of resource blocks belonging to both a given UL/DL resource allocation and a set of resources designated for UL/DL transmission in the slot format.

Abstract: Aspects relate to time-interleaving of code block groups (CBGs) of a transport block. Some deployments can include configuring a downlink transmission to a scheduled entity that overlaps in time with an uplink transmission from the scheduled entity when the scheduled entity is operating in a full-duplex mode. CBGs may be time-interleaved to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between downlink and uplink transmissions. The modulation and coding scheme (MCS) of the transport block can further be adjusted to accommodate and/or mitigate interference between the downlink and uplink transmissions. Techniques discussed herein can be used at various nodes, components, and/or devices in a wireless network (e.g., UEs, BSs, CUs, RUs, DUs, etc.). Other aspects, features, and embodiments are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods related to wireless communication systems and transmission and/or reception of synchronization signal block (SSB) transmissions (e.g., in full-duplex slots) are provided. For example, a wireless communication device receives a synchronization signal block (SSB) transmission schedule. The SSB transmission schedule is at least partially overlapping with an uplink (UL) frequency portion of a full-duplex slot. The wireless communication device receives a first portion of a SSB in a downlink (DL) frequency portion of the full-duplex slot; and receiving a second portion of the SSB in the UL frequency portion of the full-duplex slot based on the SSB being scheduled in the full-duplex slot and at least partially overlapping with the UL frequency portion of the full-duplex slot. Other features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) that includes an indication of a null resource element pattern. The null resource element pattern may be indicated in the DCI using: a value of an antenna port field that also indicates one or more demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports for the UE and a number of DMRS code-division multiplexing groups without data, or one or more zero power downlink reference signals. The UE may perform one or more demodulation interference measurements based at least in part on the null resource element pattern. The UE may demodulate a downlink communication based at least in part on performing the one or more demodulation interference measurements. Numerous other aspects are provided.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration information, configuring the UE with one or more SRS resource sets, wherein each of the one or more SRS resource sets comprises one or more SRS resources; receiving signaling comprising a field indicating which of the one or more SRS resources in the one or more SRS resource sets are active and which of the one or more SRS resources in the one or more SRS resources sets are inactive; and transmitting one or more SRSs using only the one or more SRS resources that are active.

The UE may receive control signaling that is indicative of a first one or more parameters associated with half-duplex operation and a second one or more parameters associated with full-duplex operation, where the first one or more parameters and the second one or more parameters are uplink control channel parameters that pertain to power control or spatial resource allocation. The UE may transmit, during an uplink resource within the plurality of slots, an uplink message in accordance with the first one or more parameters or the second one or more parameters based on the slot format configuration.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for available slot counting for slots with subband full duplex (SBFD) and non-SBFD symbols. An example method, performed at a user equipment (UE), generally includes receiving an indication of whether available slot counting is enabled when the UE is configured to transmit or receive multiple repetitions on at least one physical channel, receiving signaling scheduling the UE to transmit or receive multiple repetitions on the at least one physical channel, wherein at least one of the repetitions is scheduled to occur in at least one slot that has multiple different types of symbols within that slot, and processing one or more repetitions on the physical channel, based on the indication and signaling, wherein the processing involves performing available slot counting and determining whether to transmit or receive a repetition on the physical channel in the at least one slot.
