Abstract: A first network node receives downlink signaling from a second network node in a first occasion, received on a first carrier in a first time slot, and a second occasion, which is received either on the first carrier in a second time slot after the first time slot or on a second carrier in the first time slot or the second time slot. A MAC control element (CE) in the downlink signaling received in the first and second occasions contain a first timing padding value and a second timing padding value, respectively. A predetermined time slot is equally indicated by the first time slot plus the first timing padding value as well as by the second time slot plus the second timing padding value. The first network node effects one or more configurations in the predetermined time slot responsive to receiving the downlink signaling in the first and second occasions.

Abstract: Various examples with respect to uplink (UL) transmission schemes for frequency selective precoding in UL transmissions in mobile communications are described. A processor of a user equipment (UE) receives a control signal from a network node of a wireless network which is in wireless communication with a plurality of UEs. The control signal may allocate one or more subbands to the UE. The processor defines one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs) corresponding to the one or more subbands based on a common reference point used by the plurality of UEs. The processor then performs frequency selective precoding on the one or more PRBs.

Abstract: Various examples pertaining to multi-transmit/receive point (TRP) interference control in wireless communications are described. A processor of a user equipment (UE) receives, from a network node, a downlink measurement reference signal and configures an interference measurement resource (IMR) associated with a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource of the UE based on the DL measurement reference signal. The processor measures a channel response of a communication channel between the UE and the network node. The processor also measures an interference using the IMR. The processor then generates a precoder based on the measured channel response and the measured interference. The processor further performs an uplink transmission to the network node using the precoder.

Abstract: Techniques and examples of layer mapping, channel state information (CSI) feedback and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in mobile communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives from a base station one or more reference signals, which may be non-zero power (NZP) or zero power (ZP), on one or more time-frequency resources indicated by a network via a communication link between the UE and the base station. The UE estimates, based on the receiving, a subspace spanned by a channel response of an interfering signal. The UE determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on the estimated subspace. The UE transmits to the base station a channel state information (CSI) feedback comprising at least the PMI. The PMI may include at least a first precoder and a second precoder.
