    Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for utilizing multi-factor authentication to authenticate an Internet of Things (IoT) device. The identity credentials of neighboring IoT device(s) are obtained by the IoT device to be authenticated. Upon providing a request to the authentication system to prove its identity, the IoT device provides the authentication system a first factor credential, such as a username and password. The authentication system, upon confirming the accuracy of the first factor credential, challenges the IoT device to provide the second factor credential. After receiving the challenge from the authentication system to provide the second factor credential, the IoT device returns the second factor credential that was generated based on the obtained identity credentials from the neighboring IoT device(s). Upon determining that the received second factor credential includes the identity credentials from the minimum number of required neighboring IoT devices, the authentication system approves authentication.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include methods, systems and computer program products for predicting customer purchasing behavior. Aspects include receiving, from a sensor, first customer sensor data about a first customer in a store, wherein the first customer sensor data includes accompaniment data about one or more accompaniments of the first customer. A determination is made that the first customer is known based at least in part on the first customer sensor data. Based at least in part on determining that the first customer is known, a customer profile for the first customer is accessed, wherein the customer profile includes historical customer data. The accompaniment data and the customer profile are analyzed to determine a first sales strategy for the first customer. One or more sales techniques can be generated based on the sales strategy for the first customer.

    Abstract: In an approach for providing a response based on situational context, a computer determines that an individual is within a proximity of a computing device. The computer identifies an identity associated with the determined individual within the proximity of the computing device. The computer determines a location associated with the identified identity. The computer identifies an entry within a table based on at least in part on the identified identity and the determined location. The computer determines a stimulus associated with the identified entry occurs. The computer provides a response based on determining the stimulus associated with the identified entry occurs.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method for guided vehicle evaluation includes executing on a computer processor the step of receiving a vehicle identification number (VIN) for a vehicle and analyzing maintenance items and repair items for the vehicle from anonymized vehicle data identified by the VIN which identifies deviations from normal maintenance items and repair items identified by a decoded VIN. The anonymized vehicle data includes repair items and maintenance items performed on the vehicle and a vehicle mileage for each repair item and for each maintenance item. Expected service needs for the vehicle are computed based on the identified deviations from normal of maintenance items and repair items, and the expected service needs for the vehicle are displayed.

    Abstract: A computer implemented navigation method that provides a safest route by considering manual driver risk. The method may include providing at least two sets of directions from a user start location to a final user location based on a user navigation system and user permission for data access; and ranking said at least two sets of directions by a baseline safety value. The method may also include determining in real time travelers that are present on passageways for the at least two sets of directions; and ranking the travelers according to travel risk behavior. Finally, the method may assign an aggregate risk score to each passageway for the at least two sets of directions for each passageway specific grouping of the travels having the ranked travel risk behavior to provide a safety ranked set of the at least two sets directions to the final user location.
